So just got my Andar case for my 14 PM. The cameras are 100% touching any table I set it on. The metal does not protrude out far enough for sure. Debating sending back. Though the leather is great.
I would contact them for a replacement. I just checked mine and I can tell you it's very close, but there's maybe a half a millimeter between the metal ring and the cameras. I tried to capture it in a photo using a ruler across the camera ring but my work phone is only a 13 so no macro. Again, it's very close, but if yours protrudes past the metal ring with a ruler or something across it, I would definitely contact them for a replacement.

Yeah so I’ve just rechecked it an I was mistaken mine is the same way as yours. Very very close to being flush I apparently didn’t have it at the right angle. But lint a dust definitely gets on the lenses when I sit it down. I’ll have to see how it actually affects it with more use. Let me know your findings too

Glad to hear that for your sake!

I definitely will. It is very close. I wish I would have checked my Apple leather case before I returned it to see how close that one was. Looking at my (mediocre) ESR leather case from last year on my old iPhone 13 Pro Max, there was quite a bit more distance between the ring and cameras (though I'm comparing apples to oranges here). I'm sure it will be fine, but there's no doubting it's very close.

I still have my apple umber a the distance between lenses a camera guard is way more than andars. I feel more comfortable with that one but I’m always careful with my phones so I’m not to concerned but other than that the case reminds me of my apple xs max leather which was amazing.

Someone said his case let the camera lens's touch the table, is that the case with yours?
As others have said, it's extremely close, but the lenses do not protrude beyond the case camera guard. The bumper comes out just enough by a millimeter or two. Which is actually nice, since this makes the case less bulky. When you put it on a normal flat surface, the phone it rests along the bottom camera guard at a slight angle and does not lay on any of the lenses. Pressed flat, it lays fully on the guard.

Not really a concern to me regardless, since iPhone sapphire camera lenses are nearly impossible to scratch.

I’m in the PNW where it rains heavily for a good chunk of the year and is generally pretty wet except at the height of summer. How do you leather case folks in wetter climates deal with water/moisture in your case?

Does anyone have any photos of the official red leather case for the iPhone 12 Pro’s patina over time?
I don’t expect it to look very good. I remember trying one for a week and it was already starting to get the black signs of wear along the edges.
