Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

So, after thinking about it I decided to get the wiiuka skiin more in brown:

+ good leather quality from what I’ve heard
+ minimal branding
+ I think the brown color will age beautifully and complement the golden hues of the natural titanium
+ (applies only to me) I am supporting a small business in Berlin, GER and have no shipping costs since I live in Berlin

- no action button, only cutout
- bottom lip is open

Will report back with a patina process and a little review when I have it. Cheers for your help!

I‘m exactly in the same boat as you and from germany. I love the apple leather case on my wifes iPhone 13 mini, it is literally perfect.

Now lookimg for options for the 15 pro I ordered and received the MUJJO case as it has a proper action button, but ai don‘t like the overall feel of the case and the cutout ring for the cameras is huge and ugly to be honest. The cost of the case isn’t cheap either!

I might order a skiin case as it looks beautiful, but does not have a proper action button. Also there is a cutout at the bottom right?

Remember some of the brands use the same tannery for their leather. Only nomad uses full grain but lets it’s self down with tpu sides.

Make sure you actually order the skiin MORE – the MORE has much better leather quality than only the skiin, which has a really rough texture from the photos (in case you don't like that..)

Yes, bottom is open. Not a big deal for me – otherwise I wouldn't get the chance to admire my new Titanium frame that often

There are cheaper cases that use more leather. The tpu element ruins the premium feel. Plus aliexpress have their version of the enzo for £10.

Well it seems Bullstrap cases will be shipping with an actual button. I feared they were going to pull an Andar (and many others) and leave it a cut out. Now if they can only hurry up and release their full coverage case I'd appreciate it

So I am thinking Bullstrap will be case of choice this year. Trying to decide on color. How close is Sienna to Apple’s golden brown? I have the golden brown Apple wallet, and want something that would look good with it.

Guys, I need your help. I want a well-made leather case for my new iPhone 15 Pro Max and had plenty good ones from Andar, Bullstrap and Nomad in the past. But now things are different, here’s my research and decision journey:

Andar Aspen -> the best case overall BUT they missed out on the action button. I’m not buying it with a cutout

Bullstrap -> Awesome quality But the bottom lip is open and I dislike the logo on the back. Plus it’s too expensive (have to pay international shipping to Germany, too)

Nomad Modern Leather Case -> TPU Bumper doesn’t feel great and the case overall adds too much bulk to the phone (they have added extra bulk because of the lanyard attachement spot)

Ryan London -> never had one but people on here said it’s too bulky. And the bottom lip is open, too

MUJJO -> never had one either but didn’t hear good things about the quality. And I’m generell not a fan of embossed logos on the back of the device.

I’m running out of options Do you guys have any good recommendations? Right now I’m thinking of just buying an Apple Clear Case…

I'm in the same situation, and yesterday I've spent a few hours searching for the “perfect case”. I'm from Portugal, so I am trying to avoid any non-EU country that doesn't have a retailer in Europe, so I don't have to pay tax with customs.

Furthermore, I've found 2:

1. Lonli Classic. Sold on Amazon. I have mixed feelings about this case. I mean, it looks good, but I'm not sure about the leather quality. There are a couple YouTube reviews about this case, one even mentions that it has good magnets. Safe to return from Amazon and return it if quality is rubbish.
2. YMW AliExpress. The case looks very good. Some reviews that seem legit. I contacted the seller this morning, and he told me that he will have stock for 15P in 2 or 3 weeks.

Andar I recommend to you address this problem with them about the lack of the action button. Likewise, I will do that too. Maybe they will see demand and change their production, dunno.

Nomad Leather it looks good, but there are a couple reports about not fitting properly in previous iPhones. Magnets are also weak.

I do love my bullstrap ocean for my 13 pm so would be more than happy with another. Have they said they’re adding an action button? That‘d be awesome if that’s the case.

Yes, I specifically asked before placing the order and they said there is one. The ones available now are the normal open bottom one but their CEO said in one of their Q&A they do on Instragram a full coverage option will also be available not too long after. What exactly that means I have no idea.

Yea wait for a deal. They run a decent amount of promos so if you willing to wait closer to the holiday season you might be better off.

I was thinking the same. Plus I want to wait and make sure we don't have a repeat of the bad leather launch. I've ordered an ESR silicone case off Amazon to tide me over until I decided if I'm going with BS, RL, or Andar this year. I also have a local shop that stocks Decoded. I didn't like the way the Decoded on the 13 / 14 series but its looking better for the 15 so maybe I'll go that route and save myself the shipping & duty costs.
