So many people complain about MagSafe marks but fail to understand the point it generates heat so will inevitably mark at some point, regardless of material
The only solution is to buy 20+ cases and swap out every few days to spread the wear and tear (only half joking).

Tekmomo Sofi Blue. What a beautiful case!

I just ordered a sofi blue for my 17 Pro. I bought my 17 Pro only 5 weeks ago, and since I'm so late in the 17 Pro life cycle, I thought maybe I wouldn't end up with a leather case I can see myself actually using for long stretches (which bummed me out as Ive *always* had such as leather case for every previous iPhone.

Decided to take a chance on the Tekmomo; figured for $46 shipped, it is worth a try. Your pics look great.

Weird. Don't think I've seen this type pf status on UPS tracking before; says shipper dropped off package while also saying no delivery estimate can be given until UPS has the package... I had a short email exchange with the seller this morning, but no word yet on what he's doing. FWIW, UPS iOS app also shows that shipper dropped off the package and continues to show a delivery date of August 5 (today); it's ~8:00PM my time now, hahahaha.

Brand new LuckyCoin in Dark Brown with silver 17ProMax next to 2+ years old Golden Brown (13ProMax).
I must say I’m impressed - fits snugly, all buttons are really clicky, leather feels nice, although a bit dry.
My only concern is the lip on the screen. It’s really not that big + I’ve got an extra hardened screen protector which is on the thicker side… basically the front of the phone is flat.

Received the Sofi Blue Tekmomo for my 17 Pro this morning. Very minimal packaging (in a light tan cloth draw string bag and that's it...I actually like this). Build, fit and finish are solid, IMO. Buttons & camera control work flawlessly. I appreciate that this case also has a slight front lip so I can set the 17 Pro on a surface screenside down (can't say that about the Bullstrap $22 special I got a few weeks ago).

All-in-all, this is a case I can see myself using for long'ish stretches of time. I just need it to break in because, just as I found w/ the Bullstrap case, this is almost as slippery as a bar of soap. I do have leather conditioner around, but I'm hesitant to apply any of that for some reason (and it's a brand that claims no darkening of leather when applied).

I loved the LC on my 15 Pro. I hope they make an open-plateau version this time around for the 18 Pro

Me too. I miss my old LC. I haven't been in leather since I picked up my 17 but I'm starting to thing about going back to leather soon.
Same story with me. I had a few leather cases for the 17 Pro but I guess my interest waned as this thread slowed down haha. I had a few leather cases I liked but ultimately got really bored with all the leather brands this year. Going forward, I'll probably just stick to LuckyCoin or Aliexpress. I got two absolutely terrible Ryan London cases and I'm sick of the markups and the whole marketing spin that a lot of these brands use, saying they're obsessed with quality and only source the finest leathers, etc. when they're all just using the same 5 Chinese factories.

Yeah. Haven’t people reported they were denied a new case? At that point what’s even the point of paying for lifetime warranty that doesn’t actually benefit you?
Yeah I had a warranty replacement denied by them and swore off them for life after that.

My black open-plateau Bullstrap has been my daily for the last two months and it’s far and away the best leather case I’ve had on a phone.

The form factor is slim and matches the curves of the phone tightly. The leather slopes up to nicely rounded off metal buttons that are aligned perfectly.

The CC cover is also aligned perfectly and is flush with the surrounding leather. The cutouts on the bottom are nicely rounded and put no pressure points on the little finger so it’s incredibly comfortable even for extended use sessions.

10/10 experience, especially considering I had issue with the first one and it was easily replaced under warranty.

This was my favorite leather case this year, too. Take it with a grain of salt, but the founder of Bullstrap said on reddit that their plastic shell phone case mold is proprietary while other manufacturers just use whatever the Chinese factory comes up with.

Don’t believe it…. They are just $40 Wiiuka cases after all.

I picked up two of the Lucky Coin cases, same exact one you have and another in black. I really like the black, but the Golden Brown is ok, not great...not horrific. Kinda feels plasticky perhaps, some kind of heavy coating on it. No idea.

I personally loved my previous Bullstrap cases, but after the price hikes went from a resonable $50 to $99 I simply couldn't do that anymore. IMO, there are other leather cases out there just as good..maybe even better for less.

I DID get the Bourbon case color months ago when Bullstrap discontinued it - always loved that color, dropped the price to $48. (I am getting a lot of daily emails from Bullstrap the past few weeks of other discounts, sales, Buy a case, get ____ free)

Didn’t someone order a Bullstrap case and it had Wiiuka branding on the inside or something like that?

Perhaps some shady character sent a Wiiuka back in their Bullstrap box and it slipped through inspection. We know it happens all the time with Amazon so…?

Seems a bit extreme to condemn a company and their reputation because of the supposed experience of one random anonymous internet voice. Or has this been documented more than that?
