I really would like a bright color. How "brown" does it look.

Could you post a daylight picture?

That is so great, it's exactly what I wanted. Thanks a lot. :)
And I have to say I really really like it.

I think it really looks great. I'm sure it can be combined with lots of shirts.
I didn't want a blue one because it's so intense and black is too ordinary.

Thanks again for the pictures. :)
I'm really looking forward to mine.

Are you happy with your choice?

Yea I love it. The dark brown color goes quite well with the clothes that I wear. In my opinion, the black just looks too harsh on the wrist. Especially for those of us with pale skin :)

The dark brown seems to go well with casual outfits as well as dressier stuff.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by the brown :) I still can't figure out what I don't like about the black... Maybe I need to try it on in store!

I was never sure about the leather loop until I tried it on, it just feels so compfortable and is a lot nicer in person! Very happy with the stone pictures! It's been my dream to have that band since the start!

I wish they would make the modern buckle for 42mm! I think all bands should be available for all size watches.

are the SS 42 mm watches with leather loops shipping out yet!!!

No ... No ... they have not. I really hope next week before Thursday.
There's another bank holiday that might screw up the delivery again.

That picture is great. Makes the watch band look like a very nice gray and love it.

I think the black looks okay in pictures/renders, but not particularly attractive. I tried it on in store and really disliked it. I don't really like the leather loops in general, in fact, but it's the only official alternative to the sport bands for me so I'm going for one.

At my try-on. Switched to this combo (from black loop) and never looked back. (Only moved back in line)

I tried on all the bands during my try on appointment yesterday and this was definitely my favorite. I will be ordering the black leather loop when I get my watch.... In July.

Started off with the Milanese Loop and now have a request to exchange my band with Apple for a black leather loop. The leather loop has really been growing on me and the Milanese Loop while looks sharp, is not as comfortable and most of my outfits are fairly casual so it doesn't quite go. The leather loop seems to be one of the more versatile bands out there.

I received the stone loop yesterday. I'm not sure about the color - it's very light. I have a blue one coming, as well, will probably go with that one.

I got the stone too and I'm not as thrilled with the color as I was hoping. I thought it would be more of a cream color I guess. I think I going to exchange it for the blue. I would keep it and use both, but it's just too expensive for me to justify. I have a white sport band too that I really like, so I think the blue loop will be a better compliment with that one.

Does the Stone Leather have pink undertones? I initially thought I wanted it but thought it had a touch of pink. Went with the brown.

No, I wouldn't say it's pinkish. It's more of a khaki tan. I would keep it and get a blue one too, but it's so expensive that I think I'm going to do an exchange for the blue.

Here's my black Leather Loop

Hey MBATURIN, when did you place the order and is that the large or medium?
I placed mine for the Black medium at around noon that first day after going for a try-on to see which size to get and mine still says 2-3 weeks and is still processing.
Thanks, Steve

I returned the stone loop today. I have the blue on order and should arrive around the end of the month. Like you, I have the WSB so having a darker band along with the white will give me more options.

Here's my black Leather Loop

Looks nice. Just got the band last Thursday – it's waiting on its watch, SS SB.

Curious – does the loop flatten down? Looks like it might tend to stick out oddly if the band isn't snug. I would tend to have mine on the loose side. Thanks.

Edit: well, I had a "brainstorm" and it dawned on me I could do a try-on at home using my wife's 38mm Sport (my band is 42mm). Just for fitting, the hangover in the attachment slot doesn't matter. Bad news is I didn't like how it fit with the loop on the outside at all (the way Apple shows it). And, it wouldn't make much difference when mounted on the 42mm watch. But, the good news is I tried it on flipped around the more traditional way, with the loose end of the strap pointed to the outside. This was a totally different - and more comfortable - fit! The loop is now under the wrist, like a clasp or buckle would be.

I find it remarkable how much of a 180° flip my opinion on the band did after that simple change. Otherwise, it would have definitely gone back. Obviously, YMMV.

It might still have to go back, because even with this try-on, I don't have a full 14 days to really give it a go because the watch is still arriving "June". I suppose when I ordered it I was motivated to get the order in the queue and hope for the best on the watch (both ordered less than 10 min. after store opening).
