stream it through Infuse on my Apple TV and iOS devices. Works great and Infuse is simply beautiful (and affordable!)

+1 for Infuse. At the moment, and for a while, it’s the best tvOS video streaming app. It has a great iOS version too!

I didn’t see anyone note this, but you can store your ripped DVD files almost anywhere and Infuse can stream them. This includes local network content like a Time Capsule, Mac, or NAS, but also cloud storage like Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive. That way your content can be streamed when you’re away from home, even travelling overseas. I think of it as a personal iTunes Movies or Netflix with my ripped DVDs... many of which are not available on any digital streaming service.

? I tag movies as movies. Home Sharing (if that’s what you were referring to) is just Apple’s name for the feature that lets you stream content from iTunes to other devices on the same wifi network.
Nvm, I misread your post. I'm not sure why I thought you said home movie section of iTunes.

Sadly, it is badly handicapped, since tvOS 11.3.
For me, personally, this lack of audio pass-through voids the whole point of buying the Pro license.
