I myself just recently got back into it as well. So far I've done the below two. I have an A-Wing I just got in that I haven't had time to work on yet. Also started collecting the Simpsons minifigures and a couple other ones

I loved Lego as a kid, and about a month ago I made a stop motion video using Legos. 😀
Let me know what you think.

Just finished, but the lighting in my apartment isn't great. I will post some finished pictures tomorrow.

Glad I'm not alone in reliving my childhood through the combination of my two favorite toys. 🙂

I don't collect any myself, but when I was a kid I used to be fascinated with Lego. I still am to this day, but I can't really see myself going out and purchasing any myself. I am tempted a bit more now though lol.

I felt the same way for a while. The more I look at BrickPicker, the more I realize that they are not just for kids. 🙂

Of course, I did justify getting back in to because of my son. However, he is 5 months old and has no interest yet. 🙂

Guess I'll go right to the big guy:

The Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon

Timelapse Video of the Build:

P.S. I've posted some of this before but that was a few years ago when it was new.

Awesome! I will check out the video later.

I went to buy my nephew some legos for his bday next week. OMG they are all $150 + bucks a set !! Do kids sell drugs on the street to buy these things? Every Star Wars one was insanely priced. I ended up buying him a batman with the flash set that had the batmobile and a Riddler car. I also got him a Spiderman one because those are is favorite. He loves the Ninja Turtles but only way to get all 4 of them was dropping over 100 bucks on 2 play sets.

Why are toys so expensive now? A batman was 12 bucks and about 3 inchs of crappy plastic. You want one that looks remotely like batman or spiderman it is 25 bucks !!! I don't remember them being that pricey when I was little.

You should see what the retired and older sets sell for.

I'm in this exact same boat, my son is only 18 months old. The way I look at it, it's practice to help him when he's ready for Legos. In the meantime I'll enjoy it. 🙂

This is still mostly around, started making this 8ish years ago and this has been broken up a bit but two years ago this still stood up. Sorry for the poor quality, iPhone 3GS pictures from 3 or 4 years ago 🙂

We took our grandson to Legoland a few days ago and on an impulse I bought myself a set, my first Lego experience in probably 45 years. I am astounded at the number of pieces (717) and variety of shapes. It took several hours to assemble, much fun, and I don't think I'll be buying any more. 🙂

Super Star Destroyer that I did last year. 51" bow to stern. Sorry the pictures are fuzzy. Also in the background of the 1st picture is an Imperial Shuttle Tydirium.

How much if you don't mind me asking?

Also on a side note, do you live alone?
