£85 - 17.5% Vat = £72.34

Not quite. It's not £85 - 17.5% = £72.34 (I make that £70.13!)

It's (Roseboy's figure) £63.686 + 17.5% = £74.83.

Granted, it's still less than £85. Let's call it P&P. :)

There is a saying in Germany, "those who don't have a clue should just shut up". :p

Seriously though, Europe is paying Apple insane amounts of money right now considering the exchange rates. And this has nothing to do with VAT.

happely i'm not a german, but yes i should not have said theese things, but i don't really mind maying a little more,

Anyone know the difference between the Japanese Edition and the Japanese International Edition?

I thought OS X was the same edition the world over (i.e the version of the OS X that came with my MBP when I brought it over in Australia for three months) runs in Japanese and English.
Is it just that the pamphlets and printed documents that come with the DVD are in English as opposed to Japanese.

Anyway, tempted to get Leopard when I'm out there late Nov/early Dec. I'm going to be there anyway... and 14800 Yen works out about 20-25 UK Pounds cheaper than the 85 Pounds it costs here in the UK. (Not sure if the Japanese price included the 5% Sales Tax... but even so, if you add that one, still about 20GBP less than the UK).
