There doesn't appear to be support for Audible audiobooks in the upgraded Front Row either. This was fixed with version 1.2, but I can't get it to work in this version. Anyone get this working?

It works fine for me. It's the last option under the Music category.

Am I the only one that doesn't like the new FrontRow?

I liked the cool effects the old one had. Even the odd little musical sounds were cool. The new one is pretty boring.

This is the first time I'm posting since Leopard's come out, this is the first issue that's actually caught my attention. I haven't bought Leopard yet, I was holding off just a little bit, but now it looks like I'm at least gonna wait until they make some improvements to Front Row. I can see why they might not want to offer wireless audio for DVDs and movies to support AppleTV, but cutting out the previously available feature of wireless music through front row is really lame. And yeah, it's nice how iTunes and Front Row sorta work together in Tiger, and the new interface doesn't seem quite as cool either. I always loved the transition to Front Row, but now I'm getting the impression that's been left out?

Anyway, I'm definitely not upgrading to Leopard until they fix Front Row. If they DO offer wireless audio for movies though, I will happily forgive them.

As time has passed, Front Row in Leopard has straight-out embittered me.

If someone finds a way to "tweak" Leopard and exchange the Front Row from Tiger - I'd be 100% for it.

I agree, the more I use it, the more I dislike it. I used to use FrontRow to stream movies from my portable HD wirelessly. It is so poorly implemented in Leopard that I just manually open the harddrive and select the movie I want to watch, bypassing FrontRow completely.

Looking for methods to install Front Row on Leopard - I didn't find anything yet.

I did find yet another reason why Front Row 1.3.1 is better than Front Row 2.0

So what if it's old, I just added it to my list of features that makes the previous Front Row better.

Can you not use AirFoil to achieve the same thing? I know it's not free, but it may be your only alternative (other than going back to Tiger).

Just an update, an AirFoil beta has been released that supports Leopard. However, it doesn't work with Front Row as of now.

Can I just say that this program looks awesome? I really hate paying for little utility software, but this one seems so worth it.

Is this the reason that there are no images showing up in my frontrow when I stream my music on frontrow via a windows based itunes?

At least, no album art is shown at my comp... :(
