Leopard Up-to-Date Program

I think it has to do with Apple in UK based educational offer. Similar to the one that just ended here in US in September 16 where you received a free iPod with a purchase of a mac.
Just ordered the up to date version of Leopard in the UK.
It was £5.95 and surprisingly it is free shipping too
. Can't complain with that.

I ordered my Mac yesterday (before the Up-to-Date program was announced) because I didn't want to have just Leopard installed on my computerI wanted the option of having Tiger too. I figured that I might end up buying a copy of Leopard fullprice. Now I find I don't have to!

It appears that there is some discretion allowed. Just got off the phone to the UK Apple store as I did not receive my iMac until 2nd October.
She initially said that I did not qualify for a free up-to-date Leopard as my order shipped on 25th September. After I pressed the point that I didn't receive it until 2nd October she made some enqiries and came back to me saying that as I had ordered it on 16th September and this was more than 2 weeks before 1st October I still did not qualify for free but she could offer me £25 cashback
So it sounds like an order placed after 18th September could qualify.
I bought mine in the store on Sept 29 and i filled out the online form and it let me place an order. If my copy does not ship im calling or going into the store and raising ALL H**l I have bought like 3 Macs in the last yr and an iPhone

Mine says not yet shipped thats it. They also charged me. So i hope that is a good sign they are shipping my leopard upgrade.

I'm going to buy an iMac in the Apple Store this Sunday, I have two questions:
1) Should it have Tiger preinstalled and a Leopard disc thrown in, or....
2) Will it be a relatively new manufactured computer? I know it'll still be a Rev. A, but do Apple Stores keep stock for long? If so, how old do you think it would be?

How do I compute sales tax on the 9.95?
How do I compute the sales tax on the $9.95? Just slap on my county's sales tax? (Alameda County, California). Or is there even a sales tax at all?

Nope. Have to install tiger then upgrade.
At least this is true with the disk I was sent.
