Fair enough in your specific case.
I just find the whole thing about how massive it is overblown. Once you become accustomed to its size it becomes completely "normal" and smaller phones feel like an absolute chore imo and so incredibly limited in terms of screen real estate. My work phone is an iPhone 6 and I had to put it in a case (unlike my 6S Plus which is caseless) as I find the smaller size cramps my hand and is easier to drop!
Like I say though, in the case you've described I understand your predicament. It's almost make your mind up time

I think the 7+ will be more popular than the 7 so get that one and try it out. If you don't like it, return it and get the 7 when it comes back in stock

Go with the Plus. I decided to try it this year for the 7 myself. I kept telling myself I would try it previously and kept putting it off.
Guys we have 14 days exchange right? I think I'm going with the 7 this year the plus is a little too uncomfortable
I ended up ordering the 7+ in matte black, 256GB....I'll try it and see if I can make room in my lifestyle, LOL!
YES!!! I ordered the exact same everything. If in two weeks I find it is just too much to deal with, I will return it for the 4.7". I just knew that without trying out the plus first, I would be left wondering.
Exactly, gotta give it a shot this time around. I really like the idea of showing new work ( photos ) to clients on it and something tells me there will be lot more to those twin cameras than just OIS and two different optical settings.
But what a cluster faak getting it ordered, ATT blew up right when I was about to finish up and then Apple was down, I caught it seconds after it opened on a refresh and barely got it with a ship date of 9/27-9/29.
I ended up getting in through the Apple Store app on my phone. Never used it before and came to where it asked me if I wanted to "Replace this iPhone on my VZW account" OR "Buy a new iPhone on an existing wireless account". Honestly, I had no clue the difference between the two options. I just knew I wanted to pay full price and keep my unlimited data. I chose the latter, and payed the full price so I am crossing my fingers all is right in the end.
