With the current state of affairs, a lot of us are working from home.
What I have noticed is that in the past 4 weeks or so, I hardly wear my Apple Watch, while at home.

Anyone else?

After all, I typically use my Apple Watch to not miss phone calls and notifications, while walking around the office building.
But, with being at home, I actually just do not see the need for my Apple Watch.

Use is exactly the same. If I didn’t use a multi hundred dollar device like this everyday I’d sell it for something else I would! I put it on like underwear everyday.. which I hope everyone is still doing to a degree 🤣 Plus I've had fun collecting new bands of all colors, to switch up.

But for realz, these posts confuse me. It’s a beautiful watch/piece of technology. I like it and I wear it. What would change. Still love walking around the house saying "hey siri, set a timer for such and such." "hey siri, send a text blah blah blah to such and such." When I'm at home I set my phone down random places and lose it constantly, so its just easier.

Mm, I use it more. Since now I leave my iPhone at my desk and I use my Apple Watch to skip commercials in podcasts and adjust the volume when I walk around the house.

Nah, if anything, I just use watch faces where I just see the time now. No reason to complicate thing with complications.

Why wouldn't someone want to wear their watch everyday, despite staying home so much? It really isn't that hard to put on when you wake up, and is still convenient even if you don't have a busy workflow anymore.

I've been wearing mine every day since I got it, I only taking it off to charge (which is when I shower, so I'd take it off either way). I love this watch.

I rotate my Apple Watch with my mechanical watches. I personally just like the aesthetic change, and my Apple Watch serves exactly what I need it for, but there are times like yesterday where I decided we’re mechanical watch, simply...because I thought looked better with my outfit.😁

Not just functionality, it’s fashion!

You can turn those warnings off. I did that on my S3, since my heart rate normally exceeds 90 bpm and I just switched the threshold to a more accurate (for me) warning level.

I still work out everyday and invested in closing my rings so it’s still on all the time except when I’m sleeping.

Closing all the rings isn’t as addictive as I once thought it once was, it’s a great tracker and tool to see your progress,But in the weightlifting aspect, it really doesn’t apply to me as much

Also...

I’m having to figure out new ways of managing without being in the gym, fortunately I have a personal ‘home gym’ synchronize in my spare bedroom. It works really well, but it’s certainly not the same as being in the gym, as I was into bodybuilding. Adapt and overcome.

I use mine for sleep tracking at night and activity tracking during the day. And other glanceable type info. Watch usage hasn’t decreased at all.

+1
I also only take it off for charging when I shower or take a bath and I wear it over night to track my sleep (with AutoSleep, which works perfectly fine btw)

I still use mine the same, but then I have been mostly working from home over the last eight years.

On a serious note, the ‘stand’ notifications are really handy at home where it is easier to simply end up sitting at your desk all day. And activity tracking is useful for the same reason.

I also have fairly extensive home automation and being able to control that from your wrist is also handy (no pun intended) when you don’t want to talk to a HomePod...
