I can see 100 to 200 price drop but not 400-600 from a case change.

Why even post such drivel? HP and Dell sell 5 times as many computers as Apple. How can Apple possibly beat that kind of buying power or economies of scale? Surely not by some new fangled way to make a case, no matter how cool it sounds.
