how are you keeping the first page free of icons? I tired doing this in iTunes and when I updated, it just tossed everything back from the 2nd page.

Do it on the phone, not via iTunes.

Normal syncing wont revert it, unless you try to rearrange using iTunes again. (don't do that)

Open Safari on your iPhone
Go to Google or some search engine
Type in Glyphboard
Click on the link (should be first one)
Add the website to your homescreen (as a web app)
From there it explains it to you

I was hesitant to post this only because I don't like these huge threads that never seem to end, but this one seemed to apply more to me since I would call mine more "creative".

This is something I've done on my own except for the actual wallpaper (gray).
If you know you're way around photoshop you can change the hue and stuff of the All Background layer. If you want all four individual layers let me know.
