I have a feeling the screens are a lot better this time around. Last year at this time, this thread would have been 100 pages long by now. And if those 100 page long threads proved anything last year, it was that you will never pinpoint an exact batch/date/serial number that will answer your question. Just refund or exchange if you're not happy.

Yes, I'm sure. I'm a graphic artist. My career revolves around colors, screen calibration and so forth. There's no doubt that the overall color temp of my iPad 3 cooled down over the first 48 hours or so.

Do you know approximately how long the screen was actually on during those 48 hours?

Utterly pointless thread, as the colour "issues" are almost entirely a matter of subjective judgement.

Yellowish screen, not too bad, but a bit warm for my liking...seems like I'm the only one with week 2.

Screen is essentially perfect.

Minor light bleed with brightness cranked in dark closet. But not realistic as at night, brightness turns down.

Colors are great and true.

Haven't noticed any excess heat from the back, but I also have it in a ZAGG LEATHERskin.

I'm noticing a trend of DM factory productions with no issues.
 
Very, very slight "warm" tone as compared to my iPad 2, otherwise, just perfect: no dead pixels, no backlight bleeding, etc. The screen looks beautiful!

Like a puppy needs its nose rubbed in its mess when it does it on your carpet, some people need their noses rubbed in their own stupidity.
 
I am happy with my iPad. Maybe mild screen bleed in a completely dark room, after I dark adjust for 5 minutes. :)

As with the OP, my iPad has a minor yellow tint in the top left corner which graduates to pure white in the bottom right - when the device is held in portrait. Battery drain when used for web browsing, twitter seems rather high.

Mine looks totally fine. Color looks good, maybe a touch more blue than the iPad and iPad 2 I have at home. One thing that's funny is putting my serial into that site gets me all the info posted above, except production week. There's just no line for it.
