Whaaaaat ? Production Week 53 ? When did it reach production week 53 ? People here are hardly talking about week 13-15 and you are talking about week 53 and that too year 2011. Dude r u serious or you dont know. Are you sure you are talking about the New iPad or perhaps you are talking about your iPad-2 !! :p

Mine is week 7 and I have no problems at all.

Same here (build in 2011: bought on day one). Yellow display on the left side. Not super crisp. I'll exchange it when decent screen will show up in my local Apple Store.

To update my post (above) my screen is still bitchin, but I did notice a super-tiny dent on the lower right corner of the aluminum frame, along the right edge. I didn't see it until I felt it with my fingers. Its barely there, I know its there, but does it bother me? Nope. Frankly, I see that as an identifying feature saying this iPad is mine. It was probably caused by a holder or something used during manufacturing that was made of a stronger metal than the aluminum casing. Its not sharp or anything, so I'm not concerned.

i really don't see any issues with mine. i've done the dead pixel test, i've turned the brightness level all the way up and stared at a white screen and really my eyeball just hurt after all that close examination.

If everyone had stopped buying the ipad 2 with light bleed they would have made sure they got this 1 right but guess what everyone will keep there sub standard ipad 3 and we will have similar quality issues with the ipad 4 or the "really new iPad"

Mine is Flawless,perfect bright white screen,no backlight bleed.I couldn't be happier! :D
