Anyone here who is like “make it part of Apple TV+! I don’t want to pay extra” is either delusional, or has no idea how sports subscription packages work, to be able to watch EVERY game live.

Every major sport charges money for these services. MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL all charge hundreds of dollars for access to games in a season.

Apple is paying or forwarding subscription money to MLS for the right to carry streamed games. There is NO WAY they would not charge extra for the streaming package for the simple reason that MLS would not be OK with it. This is revenue they do not want to miss out on.

You don’t have to think it’s worth the value; maybe for you it isn’t. But if Apple wasn’t carrying the games, someone else would, and it would probably be about the same price.

I disabled LG store and my LG Tv isn’t connected to internet. T-Mobile gives free year subscription to MLS season pass.

You couldn't pay me to watch soccer.
Tell that to all the people that watched the final in Qatar.
"Argentina’s shootout win over France in the final of the Qatar 2022 World Cup reached a global audience of 1.5 billion viewers, Fifa has revealed."
Betcha no (American) football game can match that. I rest my case.
Regards from Argentina!
