You can’t just say “time will tell” as if there’s any evidence at all that it will happen. “Maybe iphones will start being made on Mars. Time will tell. Maybe I’ll sprout wings and fly. Time will tell.”
Haha. 😂
I always felt "time will tell" was neither inferring something will happen nor won't happen. More non-committal. Another way of saying "We have no idea what will happen, but at some point, we will." I use it a lot in these forums because literally no one here has any clue of Apple's plans. Still, it's fun to imagine and try and connect dots seen or other. Kind of the point of this site, really. "Here's some stuff to ponder. Now, discuss." 😜

idle speculation absent even a single point of new information is pointless, is my point. The premise was “apple is getting displays from Korea. Therefore they will manufacture devices in Korea.”

Apple has always gotten screens from Korea. Apple also gets components from all over the world. There is zero correlation between the location where parts are sourced and where they manufacture.

So chiming in with that theory, absent any iota of information that suggests it, is nothing more than a waste of time.

Eh... I just saw it differently, that's all. To me the post seemed less a waste of time and more just a member who was pondering aloud.

Anyway, no biggie. I'm glad you're here and have long-appreciated your perspective. Carry on.

There wont be, as its not required. purpose of miniLED is to provide localised dimming. They can use OLED with extra cost but no extra benefits. Infact, if they use OLED, then theres no point covering it with and inferior tech like LCD
Great point, thanks!
