Life proof for 6s/6s+

Is that you?....YES, it is. LOL

Kristin,

Which did you like better, the fre or the nuud?
Well, they are very different. I will be doing a comparison video, but that is probably a week away at least. The FRE is lighter weight, and thinner, and I thought the audio quality was very slightly better than on the NUUD. Obviously you are dealing with a screen protector with the FRE, but I think that LifeProof does an amazingly good job with the FRE's screen protector considering it is both plastic and non-adhesive. I also really like the form factor of the FRE--the lip on the back of the case gives additional grip and makes it look and feel even thinner.

With the NUUD, you have the glory of the naked screen, and slightly more heavy-duty feeling materials, but it is a bit thicker and heavier, as I said, and I don't think the audio quality is quite as good as the FRE's (but it is still very good). I really like both cases. I think if screen quality is your highest priority, then the NUUD is the case for you, but if you are looking for something thinner and more lightweight (and cheaper) and are willing to live with a little glare and occasional rainbowing, then the FRE is perhaps a better choice. The FRE also comes in a more attractive array of colors, in my opinion :)

thank you...if you had to choose one, which way would you go?

Ok, so I've just been holding a FRE in one hand and a NUUD in the other, and while I have to say I prefer the feel of the FRE, the naked screen on the NUUD might be enough to sway me back toward the NUUD. I also may be slightly prejudiced against the NUUD because I have the boring black version. I have a brighter colored one coming in a few weeks and this may sway me somewhat as well. Sorry, not a great answer, but it is the best I can do so far:)

lol, I understand. I am contemplating returning the Nuud for the Fre. I like the bare screen but am concerned about the lack of "overall" coverage. Ahhhh dilemmas ;) the color wont do much for or against me, as I always stick with a black case. :)

Concerning the lack of coverage, are you using your phone in very dirty or sandy environments? I would think that the NUUD, along with its plastic stick-on screen protector, should provide adequate protection for most environments...

I actually got the teqii glass for the nuud. Its not bad, but not good. Leaves a larger gap than expected.

I would really like the Fre in RED. I actually called The LifeProof company to see if there was any plans to make the RED color for the 6s Plus and they said not at this time. I guess I have to go with black.

I also looked at and did a little research on the Nuud, but it's just not for me.

This case is junk. The little rubber/silicone cover over the camera flash has torn/ripped on three different cases. One I bought on Amazon, one my girlfriend got on Amazon for her phone, and my warranty replacement from Lifeproof the same defect after less than 48 hours with my phone. And I've done nothing this weekend since I just had a vasectomy on Friday!

I'm think I'm done with Lifeproof at this point.

Thinking of putting a .2mm glass under the fre. Might make for a tight screen fit. I have read online that people have done it without issue. Anyone here with that experience?

I would like to know this as well. I did an antiglare screen protector from Apple and it fits pretty well.

We've got a trip to Orlando/Disney in May and I'm thinking of getting a Nuud/Fre for my 6S+.

Some good info here, thanks.

Am I right in saying you can get/use a screen protector with the Fre?

I like the Nuud, but like the idea of a screen protector.
