I went ahead and canceled my pre-order which shows 1-2 weeks for shipping and replaced the order and its in the preparing for shipment stage. I only did that because the site said it would be delivered wednesday or thursday which is much quicker than waiting for my original order from best buy or waiting for the email from lifeproof.

I'm in group A and I JUST received my buy link 11/6 12:30p EST, but the website is going really slow for obvious reasons. I already ordered mine from BB, so I'm going to e-mail them back and see if I can give up my link to give other ppl a chance.

Best Buy is the place to go. While I was in Group A, I have yet to receive a "link to purchase" email from them so I decided to give Best Buy a try. I ordered the white on-line from Best Buy last night and it is already being shipped! Out of curiosity, I also decided to look up my local store in north Mississippi this morning and found that they have them ready for pick-up there too. So, I then placed an order for instore pick-up and recevied confirmation of pick up. I attempted to cancel the online order I placed last night so I could pick-up today, but was told it is being prepared for shipping now so I had to end up canceling the in-store pick-up order I just placed. I've waited this long; hopefully, it will be here by Friday. Thanks for taking care of your loyal customers who signed up early, Lifeproof. No doubts where your initial stock went.

Same here. Sad that they sent bb out a stock of cases and left their "loyal" customers to wait. Very disappointed in lifeproof. We were supposed to be the "first" to receive it.

Can anyone confirm that this case works with the pure or glas.t?

I wouldn't leave a screen protector underneath the case that slight MM could ruin the whole waterproof aspect of the case and destroy your phone if used under water. It even states on their website that it is not recommended. Try Liquid armor it's a spray on type of screen protector that doesn't add thickness and lasts for 6 months if you really wanna screen protector on. Check it out here: http://www.dynaflousa.com/

mini review

got a white one yesterday at best buy and its pretty nice however im not sure i'll be keeping it.

there is the rainbow effect, though it only occurs when the screen is off so it doesn't bug me that much. i cleaned it the screen protector with alcohol wipes, and i have no idea where this rainbow effect comes from. im guessing its just condensation from who knows where but its still there.

the only that bugs me is that the screen protector of the case isn't flush, its quite flimsy to be honest. The top part of it is raised which decreases the sensitivity which can be a pain in the ass.

the good thing about the case is that it feels quite solid, protective from low drops and obviously waterproof. its aesthetically pleasing to me, which makes me want to keep it. both front and rear camera works nicely as if there isnt case on. the volume buttons work well and the the silent switch works pretty well, once you know how to work it.

Mine shipped from best buy. So much for lifeproof preorders but whateva. No hard feelings as long as the case lives up to the hype.

Same issue I had with the 4s version. Initially it was just a slight rainbow effect that disappeared and reappeared (maybe air pressure?). After a few months, the rainbow effect was larger and was continuous, as if the shield over time "sagged" into the iphone screen.

Don't think I'll pull the trigger on this one as it sounds like the same screen as the 4s version.

**** I didn't know they were already available at best buy. I just spent like an hour trying to order on Lifeproof's site and now I have over a week to wait before it comes. And my order might have gone through twice because the website was lagging a bunch.

Just got back from my local best buy! :D

Picked one up from BB and I think it is a case that is strictly for the people needing water proofing. Definitely can't call it my everyday case. This is my first life proof case so maybe I'm just not adapted. I do like it look and feel wise. Still having issues typing like I did with the defender.

Picked one up at BB a few minutes ago and its doing the water test right now. Not sure if I will keep it or not.
