Looks like the 5S Fre, I don't see how it's any cheaper looking. I personally don't care for the Fre case, prefer the looks and feel of the Nuud, but it gets the job done. Bought one for my mother in law and she goes swimming with it all the time.

Fre vs. Nuud

Like others, I prefer the Nuud over the fre. The screen protector on the fre just does not feel right. On my IP5, I just put a Zagg screen protector and install in the fre. You get a better look and feel plus the protection of lifeproof.

Really depends on the needs of the user. When I use the Lifeproof, it is when I am at the beach and the phone is submerged in sand and water. For me, I prefer the total protection of the Fre.

Really depends on the needs of the user. When I use the LifeProof, it is when I am at the beach and the phone is submerged in sand and water. For me, I prefer the total protection of the Fre.
I had the Fre for my iPhone 5 and it stayed on the phone full-time. I didn't mind the screen protector. I haven't used the Nuud yet, but from looking at it, I can't help but wonder if the raised edges around the screen would make it difficult to get to the pulldowns for Notifications/Control Center. I tried an Otterbox before LifeProof and that was my biggest gripe about it (besides not being waterproof)...it was hard to access the corners/edges of the screen.

They did the **** logo cutout again.

But, what is the point of getting an iPhone and not being able to brag about it?

Just kidding. Yes, the case with the logo cut out just annoy the heck out of me. What is the point? to reveal that you own a phone that is so unique that only a selected hundreds of millions own one. It's one thing if they make the cut out to feature the logo as part of the design, but it seems all the cut out so far were there to show the logo.

How is the Nuud different?

The Nuud has a gasket that seals the case around the phone instead of a screen protector. So you can touch the actual screen instead of a plastic protector. Or they usually include an optional screen protector in the box to use. The Nuud also seems a bit more protective around the edges of the screen as they have hard plastic up to the edge, instead of just the plastic sheet that goes across the whole front surface of the Fre.

Not the best explanation, I'd recommend just taking a look at their other options that are at a store already.

Been reading this board for a long time, finally figured I should start posting. Anyhow I got my fre today, did the water test and put it on the phone. I haven't had a Lifeproof case since I had a 4S and this one seems different. The screen protector seems to sit closer to the screen this time so it's more responsive and less annoying. Not sure if I can deal with the oil slick it creates though. Only other thing I can complain about is the Belkin Lightning cable I have in my car is a super tight fit, but the apple cable works fine. This will do until I see some reviews on the Lunatik Aquatic.

Mine also sits flush, but I noticed a smudge on the inside of the screen , I think I'll deal with it because I'm sure if I try to clean it it will scratch on the inside. I must say though this is a lot thinner than the defender case

For those who already have it: Does the cover interfere with the touch screen at all?
I am asking because the larger screen means more clear plastic that needs to remain flush and tight.
I have recommended this case many times to friends but many did not like how it interferes with using your touchscreen (never bothered me, but some seemed to have an issue with that).

I haven't had any problems with my screen like I have in the past, and it works well. Also the thin membrane they have over the Touch ID works well enough, ive only had a couple times where it was an issue. But it does seem like a potential weak point.

Lifeproof nuud for iPhone 6 pictures

I'm with you on that. Thing is ugly compared to 5S nuud. Lunatik aquatik it is then.

What about the Catalyst waterproof case? It looks pretty good. Anyone try theirs yet?

----------

Just got the case and put it on. It past the water test. Not overalls impressed it feels cheaply made and not as durable as pervious versions. The screen also appears to have an almost greasy tinge to it. Also the case seems to have a almost convex shape to it. Wow I sound negative with all of this. At any rate I will be sending these back

When you put it on your phone is the case still warped (convex shape?) or does it become like flat down the side when you put it on your phone? Please answer, I am really consider this case.

----------

I was really hoping that was a fake design, but it seems legit. Looks like i'll be changing my initial decision to go with the Nuud

Super ugly.
