According to an email I got from the company, they will send you an email notification when your dock ships. They also said that the shipping times are still 2 to 3 weeks. Well, I ordered my dock on October 3rd, so if I don't get an email by the end of tomorrow, something is definitely up.

Hi,

Our shipping is now up to 2-3 weeks as indicated on our website and we will send you a notification when your order will be shipped.

Thank you,
Vince

Without getting specific, can you tell me what order numberish you have? I have emailed without reply. Just wondering where I stand.

I have another dock already, the shenit on its way, and this one ordered too. I figured at 30bucks it's not a huge investment.

My order number starts with a number between 87 and 89...

If you check their website now, it shows that the Hardwood is out of stock, the back support is out of stock (for hardwood, aluminum, and black aluminum), and the connector is out of stock. All of those are out of stock until mid-November.
Of course I got the Hardwood and Back Support, so I'm wedged in there with the out of stocks. I ordered mine very early, though, so I'm hoping I'll get squeezed out soon.

I ordered one and after the initial three week period, I sent an email inquiry on shipping. I received the exact response noted earlier: "Another two weeks" with a a refund offer if I wanted. I told them to cancel and received a Paypal refund within 12 hours. I'm still interested in their dock, but I won't re-order until they start shipping.

The last time I looked on their website it said docks would ship in 4-7 days. Now it says 2-3 weeks again. IMHO It's ok to take pre-orders but I don't think they should take payment until the item ships. I don't have a good feeling about these excessive delays without any real explanation. They say they're "out of stock", but I haven't heard of anybody getting one, so it begs the question if they've ever had stock to begin with.

So I ordered a dock too I also got the email stating they were having issues and there would be a delay. My biggest issue with any company usually starts with communication or in this case a lack of it. It's approaching day 8/9 since they send out the email. I've emailed a few times to check on the dock... They don't respond.
I'm not worried about lossing the money per say ... I just worry about the product (if delivered) what will the rest of the experience be like?

I emailed them and they said that they are still experiencing delays. I canceled my order, which was placed on October 3, and ordered a Braeburn dock that has already shipped.

Good call I will do the same. They can't even respond to me asking them questions.

So I emailed them several times asking for a further update:

This was my email to them:

I have no problem waiting for a order. But I do have a problem with a unproven company not showing any kind of consideration for its customers. I have sent several emails asking about the status of my order and I have received zero replies. I would like a refund as soon as possible. Thank you

Sent from my iPhone 5

Their response.... a refund

Not sure whats wrong with just replying. I could even understand saying hey we will be delaying orders further...

Just an update

Well, shipping has been extremely fast. It shipped out November 1 (I ordered very late October 31 night), and as of 3:53 AM Eastern (local) time, it's already in the area. Hopefully it'll be delivered today, but otherwise it'll definately be delivered Monday.

I find that extremely hard to believe. They seem not to be ready at all

The Braeburn dock came in, and it really is nice. One hand undocking, the sound is great. I'll have pictures in a few hours. :)

I had originally tried to order a lightning dock from this company early on. The docks they pictured were white and looked similar to the Shenit docks listed on Amazon, which resembled Apple docks. I ordered 2 of them, weeks passed, and then I got an email saying my order was cancelled due to their "inability to deliver this item in a timely manner." I had been charged the $25 for each dock plus $14 for FedEX delivery, so $64 was charged on my credit card the day I ordered.

I emailed the company asking if they were ever going to offer the docks as pictured. No response. I did a chat with a customer service rep on their website. All I got was canned responses which didn't answer my questions. I waited 10 days for a refund to post to my credit card, which is an excessively long time in my opinion. Finally, I emailed the company and a refund posted 3 days after that.

As far as I'm concerned, this company, which only goes by the name The Lightening Dock/The iPad Frame, is suspect. At the very least, their customer service sucks. If they actually deliver the products they sell and/or improve customer service experience I'd like to know.

I guess they are not a scam this person got their dock yesterday. Now I am excited if only it didn't take forever. Anyway I thought everyone might like an update.
