The good father that I am is going to pull his 11 year old from school in the Morning next Friday...how early should we line up at the Apple Store?
I know yo want your 11 year old to have this experience, but why don't you order it and have it delivered so it is just delivered on the same day?
At the risk of sounding moralistic...it seems to me one could question dad's priorities. Getting an electronic device is more important than school. I realize we're only talking one day...but I'm questioning the message given to the child.

she already wants the 4 but told her to ****...she just got her S3 phone upgrade she can wait for the Tablet...

she wants the White...think we will just give it a shot after School and take it from there. Kind of being a bit sarcastic with the title of this thread and thinking it's okay to pull her from School for it, but kind of the fun of the whole line up at 5am on Boxing Day to buy the TV that was already on Sale 2 months before kind of thing...

I'm not attempting to tell anyone what to do about anything...just an observation (granted...of questionable value).

I think white might sell out early.. seems to be a lot less stock of it than the black. I think what you are doing is very cool and if you want to do this with your kid then great. I'd line up with her early in the morning and hopefully get one as soon as the store opens if her heart is set on white ASAP.
