Ayeeeeeee at last... One step closer to a new MBA.

Finally, a definitive release date. Does it come out at midnight or sometime in the afternoon, anyone know?

FINALY! I'm ready. Got that Migration Assistant Update, have a DVD ready to make a bootable DVD. Now I need some Arctic Cooling thermal paste, so I can toss in a Core 2 Duo into my iMac. But my MacBook Pro is ready for Lion!:D:D

Interesting. I expected more fanfare than a short mention during the earnings call.

We're about to find out if that server farm was worth the money.

The web is gonna get nerfed tomorrow.

MacBook Air now please.

-Poor App Store Servers.

-Poor macrumors, with deebs bitching about not been able to download or that the download takes forever.

Yup this is going on my least impt mac first to test, a mac mini upgraded core duo --> core 2 duo. I wish the newer minis (and imacs) still used socketed CPUs.

EDIT: It was pointed out to me that current iMacs use socketed CPUs, still wish the new minis (which I'm more likely to buy) did!

Ok... so are we placing bets on what time Lion will go live? And what country will get to it first?

Place your bets now....

Nice.

Not sure if anyone needs more proof that it will conincide with the MacBook Air release but the Apple Recycling Program now lists the newest 11" & 13" MBAs as options, whereas last week it did not...

iWork

To whoever was talking about iWork, they'll at least have to give it a minor update to support Lion; however, they haven't updated it in a while, so it will hopefully be iWork '11!
