Downloaded and now installed, I will have to do another download if I want to make a dvd copy, I only found the thread about how to do it after I installed. Duh!

Lol just go into settings and change the scrolling back to the old way

thanks goodness for that, but I suppose one will get used to it.

two of my icons on desktop changed places, i changed them back, they better stay there.

But really - Lion is snappier, Safari too.

Just received the iTunes, iWork and Remote Desktop Client updates.

I think many are going to like Lion, it is a great improvement.

Apparently it is deleted once you do install.

that is crap if it is because I don't wanna download it again if ever I needed to reinstall. I wanted to put it on a DVD, but the window had install and no close, later or anything. That does kinda put one downside to this.

Anyone know of a way to download it once and install it on multiple computers?

Go into Applications. Right click on the "Install Mac OS X Lion" application and click on show package contents. Go to Contents -> SharedSupport. The "InstallESD.img" is the lion installer, drag that to a location you want to keep it. You can also burn it to a DVD or create a bootable USB stick with Disk Utility.

Lion

yep... but it will delete the install pkg after install, so make sure you create a boot disk or usb.

Where is the /Library folder in your Home folder ? (eg all you plist files etc... and other stuff) ?

Haven't been following this at all, what's the biggest additions to Lion? Have last year's MacBook (which I was given) and hardly ever touch it so maybe this will make me use it. :)

Very surprisingly, this time I don't feel any excitement for this release. And especially no urge to upgrade.

I just can't find any good reason to do so. ICloud may be the only thing that tempts me...

I take back everything I said. Lion is a very nice improvement! I just love it.
The tweak I like the most is the fullscreen apps and the slide with four fingers between apps. I couldn't stand spaces...this is so much better. :)
Good job :apple:!

Edit: oh, I forgot to mention Mail....impressive!
