I honestly doubt 10.7.1 would need any testing by developers.
That's the same group who didn't find any bugs with the current release, after all, so what sense would that make.
Apple are aware that they screwed up with 10.7.0, no doubt, there's still quite a couple of open tickets, and I sure hope they'll fix all that crap rather sooner than later.
Apart from that, new features is what 10.7.2 is for.

Great fun post. It is ever a wonder how that group of testers don't have the power to get things fixed a priori. But I guess that's why we all get to be beta testers in the end, and I think that is a Good Thing, but we should just all get it right from the start!

Who said they knew it wasn't perfect or didn't see it? Because it's working for the majority, they released it. It is and they're fixing the minority (that's oh-so-present here) users' issues for the next update.

NOTHING IS EVER PERFECT. It's....life!

Wow, you've finally spoken sense. Yes, the majority of users experience no or few issues. People who use their computers more intensively tend to find bugs more often than other users. Just so everybody remembers, Snow Leopard had bugs at 10.6.0, too.

See, you're doing it, too. You all try to start drama. Finally speaking sense? I've been giving the same review and response to everyone ranting about these inane issues.

They are only inane if you are not experiencing them. I've been able to live with them, it's just mildly annoying. I was wondering when the update would come. Honestly, it didn't address the main issues that were irking me. Nor did creating a new user account... we'll see what happens with 10.7.2, I guess. Either way, you can't pretend that the issues don't exist simply because you're not experiencing them.

You have no clue how software development works.

Ok Swami... when is 10.7.3 going to be out? :D
