LOL we all did this crap last week. We all know it doesn't matter that historically most of their releases have been Fridays, because this one is different. We all need to stop grabbing at straws of hope on this new Wednesday rumor because are we really going to stay up all night Tuesday and refresh every hour to see if it is true Wednesday? It gets released when they release it. They know, nobody else. Just assume that they don't release on weekends and be happy for the 29th...ORRRR wait til that email gets sent to notify you...

Your Welcome, I just think everyone needs to chill for a while, I was all caught up in the rumors, before the terrible rumor about it being released last Thursday. Now I just ignore them.

Hope you guys enjoy the song!

Thanks, MBABuyer! I like the song! Chill out!:D

do you have apretty good idea it will be that day i recall you saying last week it would be out this week

my dear friend, Lion will be launched this week, either Wed or Thurs...let's roll up sleeves and wait...

Evernote has an update on the App Store that says it improves stability for Lion....start holding yer breath people!!!

Until now, I've been pretty cynical, especially after the countless "Lion will be released (insert date here)" threads.

I know we had a bad call last Thursday, but that was stupidly blind and based on layers of rumors. I didn't have much faith in that at all, and my gut feeling was correct. Nothing happened. And when people (for some odd reason - maybe disappointment?) immediately jumped at the chance of suspecting Friday, again, nothing happened.

This time, I've got to say, I think it's legitimate. If I had to put my money on it, Lion is going to be released Wednesday. Now we actually have pictures of packaging for display material that's ready to be set up in stores. It just feels much more plausible. Most news sources now have intel that leads them to speculate that we'll see a launch this week, and the planets seem to have finally aligned.

Lion will come out Wednesday,

NO ONE WILL KNOW WHEN LION WILL BE RELEASED. seriously, everyday it passes, someone always comes up with 'will Lion be released on _ _th day?' No one except ppl at Apple HQ will know. Be patient, and it will be released.

Lion will come out Wednesday,

Well said. I agree this is the first rumor that seems legitimate. Wednesday it is... hopefully

Yes the whole whopping €23 for the 5% of users who know what torrents are and want to upgrade to a dev version.

Apple doesn't care about the money they get for lion. They just care about the app store and iOS, that's where the money is, not the 25 people in the world actually still using macs like us.

Gruber quoted the date from AI on his blog.

Just sayin'...it feels like a hint without him actually saying it!

yes, i agree with you... 5% of users know what torrent is... BUT in Asia like my country, people can easily buy illegal copy from almost every district for the price under 5 USD!!

if they sell 100 illegal copies each day (i believe this is a minimum estimate), in 7 days they will sell 700 copies and get 3,500 USD (calculated from 5 USD per copy) and Apple will lost 21,000 USD!!! each week (calculated from 30 USD per download)... It's quite a lot money for me...

The real apple fan won't buy illegal copies but sometime they can't wait neither... :(

I know Apple does't care about my developing country.. :( but why let some people steal their money while keeping the Lion in the cage...? Let it go and bite them all!!!:D
