After listening to his podcast this week, I'm pretty sure he doesn't know.

That said, I will be very, very surprised if tomorrow isn't the day.

if they sell 100 illegal copies each day (i believe this is a minimum estimate), in 7 days they will sell 700 copies and get 3,500 USD (calculated from 5 USD per copy) and Apple will lost 21,000 USD!!! each week (calculated from 30 USD per download)... It's quite a lot money for me...

The real apple fan won't buy illegal copies but sometime they can't wait neither... :(

I know Apple does't care about my developing country.. :( but why let some people steal their money while keeping the Lion in the cage...? Let it go and bite them all!!!:D

i saved up for two years to pay the EUR2300 for my MBP (nearly $3000), i really won't spare me $25 by getting an illegally burned lion dvd even if i could. at EUR 23 buying lion legally is a no brainer.

besides what does apple care about losing $21000, they made a profit of $70.000.000.000 i believe from mostly iOS. they'll just support OSx until they can safely merge it with iOS i am sure. with iCloud there is less and less reason for the general consumer to own iMAcs and MBP's. an iPad with all email, pics and music in the cloud is enough for most.
 
guys, i'm listening to the live apple financial conf. call, it's confirmed that the Lion will be launched tomorrow, which is July 20, Wednesday!!! Everybody, roll up your sleeves and wait!
 
Hopefully it will be at 8:30 and we wont have to wait all day... even though i will have to wait until after work...
 
Apple's COO has officially revealed that Lion is to be released tomorrow.

No more threads aimed at speculate dates. Ok? Good.
