So basically, an iPad.

Well done.

Boy, you are hilarious! :roll eyes: Errrrr, not an iPad at all...I love my iPad, completely different product...we are talking desktop or laptop computers here with a hard keyboard and a trackpad...now, if I said that I would like my computer to have a touchscreen and then have my keyboard and trackpad removed, you might have an appropriate sarcastic comment that might work...understand?;)

Lion would exceed my expectations if it could mail order me some bacon ice cream delivered by Jessica Alba on a pogo stick!.

In short for a Rev A operating system I am more than happy with this product. And I eagerly await the updates to polish up the shine.

Not even close. They move the cursor, with touchscreens there is no cursor since your own finger replaces it. However, your finger isn't shaped like a few pixel size arrow so it's not going to work with regular UIs.

Frankly, fingertip pointing sucks for text selection, video editing, game control, or anything which requires any kind of accuracy.

For that matter, even a mouse isn't good enough when serious high-res accuracy is needed. Hence the graphics tablet, e.g. http://www.wacom.com/en/Products/BambooTablets/BambooCraft.aspx
