Same here, yesterday night my status updated with Keuhne & Nagel to.
Diddn't see anything today... my status is 6 Mar to.

Im From the Netherlands.
My package was already at The Netherlands, at Flextronics.

So, thought it would go directly to our TNT or UPS package supplyer

Received mine on Thursday,
Just arranged for apple to take it back. Sigh.

I planned to pass on my G4 Powerbook to my wife, and get the MBP for me.

Waited soooo long for the update, having to disappoint my wife sooo many Tuesdays.

Now finally it arrived. Unpacking, excitement, starting - wow, these new track pad gestures are really great, try them in ifoto! But then: Disappointment. both fans are running all the time. And keep doing so, no matter how nothing the computer has to compute. Installed Fan Control to reduce the rpm. Great tool. But even the slow fans bother me. I have not noticed this noise at a local apple dealer. But it is just way to loud for me since I work on ends in a quiet room.

Instead of upgrading I will now keep my quiet PB. Sigh. Here the fans go into sleep mode after a while. MBPs fans never sleep.

I have buried the machine with all due respect, wrapped it up in all its nice packaging and now it is sitting next to the door, waiting to be taken away.

And my wife? She will have to settle for one of these boring white cheap laptops with these silly buttons instead of a keyboard. Reason: Only one fan – that will never sleep either.

How very, very disappointing
 
beamer, i would try to get used to the fact that current systems have to be cooled somehow ;) it's just white noise which is not that annoying when you get used to it....

But not good if your macs are together now! Yours are going to the UK and mine DK!

my macbook pro (first mac ever) arrived in the netherlands and is already in the hand of ups. can´t wait to have it here in muenster germany... :)

it´s the 2.4 with remote control and a wired keyboard. ordered at the 1.3.08
 
I've noticed a DeSIGN DIFFERENCE!!! :D
The edge at the top of the screen where the isight sits is smaller.... looks like the whole display was pushed up a few mm ;)

it arrived at the 6.03. and was handed out to ups at the same day. but i have no idea when it´s here in muenster. i have a ups trackingnumber but i can´t find any informationabout the aproximatet delivery...

p.s. with the refferenc number 80.... you can track your item at https://www.iec-logistics.com/apps/tracktrace/trk_tracking.asp
it only works with the internet explorer. there you can find with which company it will be sent to you. for example VEN-UPS. then i looked at the ups site and found my macbook pro under the categoy "Track by Reference"

hmpf. jeah. but.

My PB is actually not that uncurrent, especially when compared to MBP. When the temperature of the CPU/Bus/whatever goes down, so does the fan. What makes the two sleepless MBP fans more advanced than this?

And, just in case I did not mention this before: I am really sad&disappointed.

Am I crashing a party? Not my intention. Therefore a word of hope from one hopless individual: "I am sure, you all will get used to the white noise."

I am depressed now.

Hello,

I have the VEN-SPR on my IEC tracking page too! I don´t know what it means.

Unfortunately I think it will sit somewhere over the weekend.

I have got a 34xxxxxx number. Its also a IEC number. It only shows one of the pages.

Shipped on: Mar 3

Have also got a UPS-number now, and my Apple site is now: Estimated Delivery 11. mar. :(
 
Same here, Got an UPS trackingnumber to.

Estimated Delivery Date 10 Mar 2008 (Subject to change)

Hope they still bring it tomorrow! it's so close
 
so, it seems that my mbp arrives at monday, apple just updated the delivery date. maybe better than today, cause i have to write a test for my architecture studies at monday and the mbp at home would stop me from learning...;)
i odered the 15 inch with 2,4 gh with remote contol and a keybord at the 1.03.
