Weekend would've been perfect for migrating my System to the MBP. Well, at least now I can look forward to monday :D

update from a NL buyer! after getting merged at flextronics it goes to UPS

AMSTERDAM, NL 08/03/2008 0:18 ARRIVAL SCAN
EINDHOVEN, BEST, NL 07/03/2008 23:00 DEPARTURE SCAN
07/03/2008 21:20 EXPORT SCAN
NL 07/03/2008 8:06 BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED

Think that Monday is the day:D

I suppose no, but, does anybody know if UPS continues shipping in weekends? My MBP arrived at Brussels (Belgium) from Venray yesterday and has not gone anywhere since then :(
Since today my status has changed to:

03/08/08 03:29 am
Departure Scan
Herne-boernig, DE

03/08/08 03:30 am
In Transit To
Hamburg, DE

So I guess they are working on Saturdays but not delivering. I still expect my MBP monday (I'm located in Hamburg, DE)

Did the UPS status of anyone in holland updated? Mine diddn't update once the whole weekend.
Still hoping that it is comming tomorrow!

They still haven't given me a tracking number, even though it was shipped last Wednesday. Not only that, but my status just changed to:

In Transit to Customer - Shipment Delayed :eek::eek:

I've called them but they can't give any info on the nature of the delay, or give me a clue as to where my mbp is at the moment... Anyone else waiting in London or the UK got the same problem? I'm about to cry!!! :(

Didn't realise there was a thread for Europe, so I'll repost this here:

Ordered on 5 March:

2.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
MacBook Pro 15-inch Glossy WS
2GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
200GB Serial ATA @ 7200 rpm
SuperDrive 8x DL
No iWork Preinstalled
No Final Cut Exp Preinstalled
No Aperture Preinstalled
No Logic Exp Preinstalled
BkLit Keyboard/Mac OS-B
Country Kit-GBR

Apple Remote
23" ACD

Also got reduced Apple Care and a Brenthaven Fusion MB III free of charge, yay.

I have my RAM from Crucial sat here just looking at me, it needs a new home!

Mine is now "Prepared for Shipment", which is good.

The estimated shipping date is still 13 Mar, 2008 - I can't believe they'll let it sit around for 3 days before sticking it on the back of a truck. At least, I hope they won't.

In the experience of anybody who knows, roughly how long is it from the status changing to "Prepared for Shipment" to the product being shipped?

Mine says shipment on schedule and should be here on thursday, just called apple few minutes ago, no delay here. However, my order has been delayed by the fact hat they need to merge the order with the apple care package somewhere in holland and then they send it here.

Mine has been sent last tuesday, so maybe there is still hope it will come to you on friday, but I think that next monday is more probable, sorry.

Hmmm, I ordered applecare as well. In hindsight, I wish I had ordered the MBP seperately, and then anything additional on a different order - ah well. I bet it's going to arrive on Monday, 1 day before I go away for a week - just my luck!

Ordered my MacBook Pro last Monday it shipped on Tuesday, almost a week and no tracking information. Estimated delivery date is 14th to the 17th. The Americans seem to have a better tracking system in place and also seem to be receiving their Macbooks sooner after ordering than we Brits. :(

Yup, exactly the same. Shipped last Wed (allegedly). Today shows Shipment Delayed. I ordered nearly 2 weeks ago now, 26th Feb

I suspect all of us in the UK are on the same boat

mine shipped on the 27th and still waiting

it says 11th -12th estimated. I can only hope

Not fair:

Ordered: Mar 4, 2008

estimated shipping date: 31 Mar, 2008
estimated date you will get your hands on something you ordered over a frickin' month before: 09 Apr, 2008

2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
MacBook Pro 17-inch HR GL WS
2GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
200GB Serial ATA @ 7200 rpm
SuperDrive 8x DL
Apple Remote
No iWork Preinstalled
No Final Cut Exp Preinstalled
No Aperture Preinstalled
No Logic Exp Preinstalled
BkLit Keyboard/Mac OS-D
Country Kit-DEU

They sure are they quoting incredibly long lead times.

The main status page for my order actually shows estimated delivery of 26th MAR

However clicking on the 'Track this shipment' says estimated delivery of 16th "Subject to Change(TM)".

When I speak to the Apple folks they tell me it'll be with me by the 17th (cos 16th is in fact a Sunday?)

Go figure!

Ordered 5th March, Shipped 8th March etd 17-18 March

2.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
MacBook Pro 15-inch Widescreen
200GB Serial ATA @ 7200 rpm

According to TNT my MBP was collected on the 8th but was still in Shanghai when I last checked.

Seems like they use a random number generator to work this stuff out.

Update: Just checked TNT again now says at Arnhem (NL) I guess it will come by road from there.

All 17 inch take longer at the moment, and the high res screen add to that time.

Hi all!

Am new here and I'm just wondering, specifically for those in the UK, how do you track your shipments via TNT? I've tried for the past few days here with my delivery reference number but have not been successful, which is slightly worrying as my MBP is supposed to arrive on the 15th.

Another thing to note though, is that my assigned carrier is listed as 'UK DISTRIBUTION CENTER' is that normal? As I ordered a custom configured 15.4" MBP.

Would much appreciate some help! Thanks again :)

mine is the same, i'm suppose to getting mine on the 14th, haven't got any shipping details yet. :(

hi guys!
I'm new here and new in the world of mac!
i've ordered a customized Macbook pro on the 26th feb:
15.4 "
2.6ghz
4gb ram
200gb 7200 rpm HD

it's arrived today!!this morning,1-2 days before the apple's estimated time of delivery.
i'm from italy.

i hope your mbp is going to arrive soon!

see ya!

All 17" laptops arrive at the same time as the 15" models.

What causes the large delay is the 17" LED Hi-Def Glossy screen. Not that it is a 17" laptop. You're giving people the impression that Apple have huge problems producing a slightly larger laptop.

Still no tracking info!!

mine is the same, i'm suppose to getting mine on the 14th, haven't got any shipping details yet. :(

Same here, Ordered 17" Hires Matt, 27th. EDT on or before 14th. I can not get any tracking details at all. Called Apple Yestereday, and they don't seem to have a clue either. It seams some people are almost able to get the van drivers name and hair color while others get zip.

I can't seem to track my order at TNT either. After entering the 80XXXXXXXX reference number TNT says 'NOT FOUND'

Ordered Feb 27th
Apple status states EDT 16th March (subject to change)
Current delivery status - in transit to customer (shipment on schedule).

With 16th being a Sunday I'm guessing it'll arrive on 17th or 18th. With Easter coming soon I hope it isn't any later.
