I didn't know this was an issue. When I went in on the 10th to try on the watch all 3 color MacBooks were on display. This was in emeryvile ca.

Alderwood store, Lynnwood WA has them on display.

Ordered the 1.3GHz / 512GB model from the US Navy NEX. 6-8 week wait for delivery.

The Novi Michigan store had them on display last Friday but none for sale.

The new head of retail should be fired for this inept launch.

Coconut Point Store- Estero - FL

Many on display next to the Watch display , only the lower configuration . It will be my next laptop without a doubt . Tried it and found it to be very responsive and extremely cool. They did not have it available . Will buy it at Best Buy , when available.:)

Can confirm that Towson, MD has them on display. I failed to ask them about purchasing one at the store today.

They also have the Apple Watch for try-ons (duh). Fortunately, there was no wait, and they took me early for a try-on (I had a 12:45 appointment and they took me at 11:45).

Rideau (Canada): None on display, none available
Bayshore Shopping Centre (Canada): None on display, none available

Even through the website, the MacBooks started at 3-4 weeks in Canada. In effect, it has not launched here yet.

I can confirm there are MacBook display models of all 3 colors at the Fifth Avenue store in NYC.

Mall of Georgia (GA): Displayed, not available
Lenox Square (GA): Displayed, not available

North Point Mall (Alpharetta, GA) also had them on display, all colors, but I do not know if they had any stock available for sale. I doubt they did.

The Hawaii "Village" one is most likely the Ala Moana Mall. Not sure where they got that from sounds like it would be in a grass hut or something.

Shadyside, Pittsburgh had them!

The Shadyside Apple Store on Walnut Street in Pittsburgh had them on display. All of them were the 1.1 ghz model though.

Nice but far too expensive. I'd rather buy a Macbook Pro Retina as it costs the exact same as the new MacBook at least in Canada ($1549)..

If you're in the greater Seattle area, the Apple Store at Bellevue Square Mall in Bellevue, WA has all three (gold, space gray, silver) Retina MacBooks available to try.

Fun fact: Microsoft is the largest employer in Bellevue.

Hey guys, you forgot one!

Apple Store, Franklin Park Mall in Toledo, Ohio has them on display. No inventory for purchase is available, however.
