Santa Monica, including the Santa Monica Pier, ferris wheel and all, was in 3D a couple of hours ago, now its back to 2D. Has this happened before anywhere else?

Could someone check a few cities for me. I don't have much hope they are in 3D, but it'd be worth a guess.

Atlanta, GA
Birmingham, AL
Huntsville, AL (The Space & Rocket Center would look pretty cool I would think)

I think pretty much the whole Los Angeles area now including Hollywood, Century City and Beverley Hills.

I've noticed that not all 3D Cities also have the 3D grey buildings in standard mode. You'd expect them to be linked together.

Yeah noticed that too. Mostly the US cities have that while the rest don't :\

I think between Maps and Siri it is clear that Apple is testing with a limited dataset first, then rolling out changes gradually. That's how cloud testing should work.

Thanks mate :D

That's a million times more than the number of UK cities, so think yourselves lucky! :)

Change the name to Sondon and it looks like you have a better chance since over a 1/3 start with S. We are changing to Stlanta next week so we can get on Maps:D

The first UK city may not be London, as Copenhagen is the only capital city they've done so far.

Keep checking other cities. It could be Leeds first. ;)
