Now they need to bring flyover to Africa and Antartica and they will have a least one city done per continent

still no Asian cities?

Satisfied with the list so far, hope we get really many cities on the GM/release of iOS 6.

Yay for Dallas!!

Apple has left off the Big Apple huh?..... Copywrite enfringement?? :p

They might be trying to figure out how to light the areas between taller buildings so they can get a decent exposure. That's just a guess, but from my experience using the app, it is a problem with the technology. They use HDR techniques to increase dynamic range but that only goes so far. What you end up with is a sea of mushy black/gray if you try to look between close tall buildings. Since there is a lot of that in Manhattan, it won't show off the technology well, and they know full well that Manhattan is the first place many will want to try.

Knoxville, TN, is showing up with building locations...

Could this maybe foreshadow Knoxville TN having 3D?

Yes, this happened in Vegas, they originally had just the strip in 3D. Then in beta 3 about 3 miles in each direction of the strip added every building location and its general shape. Then in beta 4, they became full 3D.

The downtown comes first and then it slowly spreads out from there...

I found about 30 cities just in Europe having these building outlines, here a few of them: Berlin, Frankfurt, Cologne, Munich, Dresden, Leipzig, Bremen, Stuttgart, Dusseldorf, Essen (GER), London, Liverpool (GB), Kiew (UKR), Brussel (BEL), Rome, Venice (ITA), Barcelona (SPA), Amsterdamm (NED), Paris (FRA) ...

and finally: New York, Washington, D.C. (US)

Also tested Istanbul for Turkey, Moscow for Russia and Tokyo for Japan, but did not find any building footprints.

Cool. They should all be coming soon then maybe. Are these all new to beta 4? Anyone notice them before?
