Besides the stuff in my sig, I've had an Apple IIe, which was given to me by an in-law several years ago who was clearing his garage. I gave it away a year or so later when I realized I was keeping it for nostalgia purposes (I programmed on the IIe in high school) and not actively using it.

The only other Apple gear in my house is a current-gen AEBS, the iMac and nanos in my sig and my wife's touch.

I did the same thing when I cleaned out my mom's attic. I found her TRS-80 in a box, wrapped up in plastic. Only thing is, I sold it to a collector I found on old-computers.com and got $1,200.00 for it . I guess the old saying One Man's Trash is Another's Treasure is true.

I wish I had a short list but I like new stuff too much. I will cut down after what I just got ( will not be listed)...

Macbook- Black 2007
iPod nano 2 or 3rd gen- Black (cant remember which)
iPod Video 5 gen- White
iPod Touch 1st gen
iPod Nano 4th gen- Silver
iPod Nano 4th gen- Black

iBook G3 clamshell (blueberry)
iBook G3 (dual USB; 800 MHz, 256 GB RAM)
iBook G4 (1.2 GHz, 768 GB RAM)
iBook G4 (1.4 GHz, 512 GB RAM)
MacBook Pro 13" 2.4 GHz (mid 2010)

I bought all these Macs used except for the MBP. I had pretty bad luck with all the iBooks (all of them were over 5 years old...) except for the last G4, which I'm selling on Craigslist.

Macs:
1994: Performa 630 CD
1997: PowerMac 7500 (with G3 upgrade)
2000: Powerbook G3 Firewire aka "Pismo" (Gift from my girlfriend, which I repaid with a 15" MBP for Christmas in 2008)
2003: iBook G4 800MHz
2006: MacBook 2.0GHz
2009: Mac Mini Server

Other significant Apple stuff:
2004: iPod mini 4GB green (bought from the US 6 months before it was available in Norway)
2006: iPod Nano 2G 8GB black (Chrismas present)
2008: iPhone 3G 16GB white (queued up on the release day in Norway)
2010: iPad 3G 16GB (bought in the UK, still not available in Norway)
2010: iPhone 4 16GB black (queued up on the release day in Norway)

Now, if I can get the Mac Mini Server, iPad and iPhone 4 combo to cover for a dying MacBook for another year and a half, I can get whatever MacBook or MacBook Pro or even MacBook Air that seems the best for me in early 2012, I can maintain that 3 year update cycle on Macs that I've had from the very beginning... ;)

Apple Macintosh LCII 16Mhz
Apple Powerbook 190C 33Mhz
Power Mac 7600 132Mhz
Power Mac G3 266Mhz
Power Mac (Quick Silver) G4 Dual 1 Ghz
Power Mac G5 Quad 2.5Ghz
Power Book 17" G4 1.67Ghz
Mac Book Pro 15" Core 2 Dual 2.5Ghz
iMac i5 Quad (mid 2010)

Not entirely sure on the earlier Macs, as I was much younger, but I have a vague recollection...

In chronological order:
  • Some sort of Performa/Centris/Quadra (one of the horizontal desktop computers running System 7)
  • Power Macintosh 9500 with 150Mhz Processor
  • PowerMac G3 Blue&White with 350Mhz Processor
  • PowerMac G4 with a 466Mhz Processor
  • G4 Cube with 500Mhz Processor
  • PowerMac G4 MDD with dual 1.25Ghz Processor
  • White Macbook of early 2009 with 2.0Ghz Core2Duo.

Not a bad list if you ask me :)

I don't have the years of when I bought or sold them, and in some cases I bought an old model on ebay but here goes.

Mac SE/30
Mac Plus
iMac (bondi blue)
G4 Cube
iBook (dual usb version)
G4 Powerbook
G4 PowerMac
G5 PowerMac
MacBook
MacBook Pro
Mac Mini
i7-930 Hackintosh :D

17" iMac

...that's it. I am contemplating forking out some money for a MPB before school though. I see Future Shop has a deal where if I get a mac, I also get office for mac free (a $200 dollar piece of software).

Haha, thanks for going through all that, amacgenius. :)

My list is quite short:
* MacBook 13" 2GHz White 2GB RAM 80GB HD
iBook G4 12" 1.33GHz White 1.5GB RAM 40GB HD
My list is even shorter:

I haven't had that many.

First, was a brand new Apple //c, if anyone here is old enough to remember that one.

Then, I had a Performa 6115CD.

Then, I had a G3 Powerbook, Wallstreet version.

Next, I had a new G5 iMac, the one before the one with the webcam thingy on it.

After that, I had a new Macbook Air.

And now I have a unibody MacBook with upgraded 4 gigs of RAM and a 500 gig drive with Windows 7 Pro installed via Bootcamp.

Most are in my sig, but

*MacBook 2.4GHz C2D
*iMac 2.4GHz C2D
iMac 400MHz G3
*Power Mac Dual 1.0GHz G4
*iBook 800MHz G3
*MacBook Pro 2.33GHz C2D

*=Macs that I still have.

:apple:

Mine's quite short in comparison. * dictates current ownership

Performa 630CD
iMac DV 400MHz
PowerBook G4 12" 867MHz*
iMac G5 (iSight) 1.9GHz*
I think it's time I updated this :)

The iMac G5 (iSight) died, so Apple gave me an Intel Mac as a replacement which served me well for nearly three years. In that time I also replaced the PowerBook G4, and I've just replaced the iMac again with one of the new models. As the other iMac hasn't yet hit eBay all three are under current ownership.

So add to the above

iMac 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo (Aluminium)
MacBook Pro 15" 2.4GHz early 2008 model
iMac Core i5 3.6GHz 21.5"

:)

At one time or another I've owned every model of 68K Mac ever released except for the 550c and the various Performas. That's quite a list, so I'll leave those out:

PowerMac 6100
PowerMac 7500
PowerMac 8100av
PowerMac 8500
PowerMac 9500

233MHz Beige Desktop G3
300MHz Blue and White G3
400MHz Sawtooth G4
550MHz Digital Audio G4
500MHz G3 iBook
2.4GHz 2008 MacBook Pro (my current Mac)
