is adobe lightroom retina ready?
Anyone know any HTML/CSS/JS apps (preferably free) that are retina ready?
Going to be picking up a retina 2.6 soon and do a lot of music production and editing. Does anyone know whether Reaper (it's a digital audio workstation) has been updated to take advantage of retina resolutions?
Ok guys...... sorry but I'm new here. Somebody care to explain what exactly this "retina display" is? Are the apps different for this and for a normal iPhone?

Twitter for Mac, the official app, looks awful on the Retina Display.
Seriously...? That's ridiculous. I could understand 3rd party software to be lagging behind in retina support but Apple should have built retina support for every single application they made BEFORE they even shipped the retina models. To have applications, especially professional applications like Logic, not even support the retina resolutions nearly 6 months after the initial launches of products that support them is unacceptable in my book.there are none. Not even Logic Pro (wtf apple)
The last major release of Logic Pro was back in 2009.To have applications, especially professional applications like Logic, not even support the retina resolutions nearly 6 months after the initial launches of products that support them is unacceptable in my book.
I still assumed they would have provided an update for the interface to make it retina level. That shouldn't take too much. It's not as if we're asking for a huge software update. It'd be simply cosmetic to make it up to snuff. It's not like the retina machines are some niche product from Apple; these are their flagship machines and most likely the future of their product lines (with regards to all Macs shipping with retina panels). The last major release of Logic Pro was back in 2009.
Either a new release is very close or the thing is essentially dead.

I just assumed it would be in Apple's best interest to make sure all their applications, at the very least, were retina aware.
The main application is pretty much retina ready since it mainly consists of standard UI elements.I still assumed they would have provided an update for the interface to make it retina level. That shouldn't take too much.

What's not ready are all the plugin UIs, most of which are completely graphics based and very pixel-art heavy. Updating these means recreating all of them from scratch, which is probably several man-years worth of work for the whole Logic Pro suite. This is much more than what was needed for Aperture or Final Cut for example.
My guess is that if a new major version of Logic Pro is nearing completion, they don't want to waste their time doing all of that work twice (once for the old version and once for the new one). But if there's nothing new on the horizon by next june, I wouldn't get my hopes too high for the future of the application.
