I recently switched to android. Not sure why Apple hasn't adopted the killer feature of android...the ability to install a system wide ad blocker. I just can't handle all the ads anymore. I guess they are worried about upsetting all the free app developers that bloat everything down with invasive ads

You know if somebody made a great small portable camera module that would just directly connect to the Apple Watch and then upload to apple photos on Wi-Fi, I don’t think I would need an iPhone for anything anymore.

Naw the 8 was the 6SSS. The 7 was the 6SS.

Apple hasn't always done S years. The iPhone 6S was followed by the 7, 8 and X before another S model came with the XS and XS Max. Just because they have an iPhone 11 this year doesn't mean they won't have a 12 next year. The whole Pro branding is a bit bizarre though for a phone product. Pro Max is even worse because it sounds like a fabric in clothing designed for sports or a model of an exercise bike.

There was the 7, then the 8. But the 8 was really just a 7S with wireless charging. Exact same form factor and upgraded internals. The X only came out that year because it was the 10th anniversary of the iPhone and the S models followed. Next year WILL be an S year, it always is.

They're having a laugh with the UK pricing, the iPhone 11 starts at £729 and the all singing all dancing iPhone 11 Pro Max tops out at £1499.

Looking at the upgrade status I see my Xs qualifies (yes I am going for camera stuff on pro). But do not see option to pre qualify like last year so I just hit a button to complete order (getting payment, carrier stuff all done). Yeah now its 7 AM central for me rather than 2 Am but would rather have all that stuff approved in advance for those of us on the regular trade in annual cycle. Hoped to get that done today or soon for easy ordering. Biggest problems are always getting credit card to approve (at weird early times when it was 2 AM central) and also connecting to your carrier at weird times and with bunches of others trying to verify with carrier to qualify.

I’m surprised by how little iOS 13 and the other new OSes were mentioned. Those are what most people care about since we all get them as free upgrades...

Based on this I'll just grab an XS - my wife asked for my X, if she didn't I wouldn't be getting rid of the X.

Looks like the Apple watch stole the show 2 years in a row.

I had the X, got the XS ( only because of the dual-sim that I needed ).. In day to day usage, the difference is trivial, and the RF ( for me ) is still crap
