That's what the buttons on your headset is for ;). Honestly, I have the fifth gen ipod and now that I have buttons on a remote on a headset, I never use the buttons on the nano (at least the times I'd find it advantageous to use buttons). And touch screen makes it that much quicker to find my songs when I do need to actually use controls on the nano.

I think this is awesome (the small size is what really makes me think it's a great upgrade). I came from a 3rd gen ipod nano and I really miss the size/form of it over my fifth gen. The big reason I like my fifth gen over the third gen is support of the remote so I never have to even reach into my pocket to try to change songs (That's when I'd find I would not want a touch screen, but don't need it with support of the remote).

I might wait though until next gen when hopefully they increase the memory size (besides, I just got my newest ipod nano).

I mean I have an iphone so I don't need an ipod touch. The nano actually is good in places the iphone isn't, where I want a small player that fits in small places (and has an awesome battery life). I think the stick form that they have kept going back to is not so great for this! So I think it's great they are going to a smaller form. It gives the nano a reason to exist (otherwise just get a touch).

So I just spent twice as much on my phone too find out I could have brought this! lets watch the iPhone sales fall
