cant believe the new touch doesnt have still camera.

atleast i hope for a new apple tv / info about white iphones

The whole still photo thing is a software issue. It is not like you will need to buy a new one next year to get it. Chill out.

I am disliking this damn event every bit. horrible. Nano is **** now. It's an ipod shuffle with touchscreen. absolutely horrible.

I like the iPod touch but not happy about the prices.

And the worst thing about this is the iPod classic was totally ignored. He didnt say it was being discontinued but you can tell it is. They could have done something to revise the design of it. **** you people for wanting this nano and if it becomes a best seller, it shows how dumbed down this world has become.

Now iTunes is nothing but Twitter for music. HORRENDOUS. Performance is not important anymore is it? It's all about liberal socializing these days.

If they don't release a new Apple TV I guess I'll buy an overpriced nano haha! Remove that clip and turn it into a watch!

Question, I understand the Shuffle does not use the 30 pin connector. Does the Shuffle connector have the same functionality? My car has an iPod compatible USB connector. I would love to stuff a Shuffle under the dash so I don't need to keep plugging and unplugging my iPhone.

Not liking the vertical traffic light buttons so far. Hopefully there's enough complaints to change it back in iTunes 10.1.

It seems like the streaming reset to some pre-show footage...but I must say: with HTML5, this is BY FAR the best and most stable streaming I've ever had on Mac or PC...SJ is a freaking GENIUS!

GO APPLE!

ADOBE IS DEAD. AND SO IS FLASH.

Ping is an interesting idea.. like Last.fm with a few different features but closed source and proprietary.

I think the new Nano and Touch are awesome. I'd be down to buy either one of them. I don't know about this Ping thing, though. I don't feel the need for social networking stuff as much as other people do, although it's pretty neat that Lala's features did end up being integrated into iTunes.

I'd love to keep watching this keynote, but I've got to get going in about 30 minutes to a class, and he doesn't allow laptops or phones, so no more keynote for me. :(

I am very critical of Apple's turn over the years, but this set of iPods is clearly a in-field Home Run. The only thing I have a problem with is no upgrade in memory. I don't see the wisdom in dumping the Classic if you are not going to approach the memory levels. That is a little ridiculous. Looks like I'll be hitting up Costco for one of the last Classics. But everything else is stunning and I will be opening my wallet at this point for both a Touch and unexpectedly, a Nano. That thing is pretty awesome.

I'd read somewhere (can't find the link right now) that Apple gets certain usage data from iTunes sent back to them frequently, one of them being which devices are connected by user (of course) as well as how those devices are used....total amount of memory filled, song types, most frequently played, etc.

So its possible that their product management group has done the analysis and found a very small percentage of the population actually fill their iDevices to max capacity as-is.

Stop with this social network crap, but I do love me some Gaga! :p

I know, I'm disgusted with myself too...
