Once again, it's great to live in the UK! work behind me and another excellent Apple event in the evening. I'll be posting along with you all. :D

Can not wait!

TechCrunch is saying there will be a broadcast:

"We've still got nearly 45 minutes to go, and this place is already slammed. We're hearing they're going to let the broadcast folks in, then we'll get to filter in shortly thereafter. They act like those gigantic cameras are cumbersome or something."

Tha means people from ABC, CNN, etc

my prediction:
iPad 2:
-Facetime App
-PhotoBooth App
-Camera App
-2 Cameras
-2 Versions- GSM + CDMA and Wi-Fi Only
-(maybe 3): GSM, CDMA, and Wi-Fi Only
-A5 Chip (1.2 GHZ)
-Improved Display (maybe retina but doubt it)- not necessarily resolution
-iOS 4.3
-32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB
-512 MB or 1 GB RAM (1GB if improved display)
-Black Carbon Fiber Body (maybe white as well)
-Maybe Steve Jobs (facetime most likely or short appearance)
-MobileMe
-maybe thunderbolt

One more thing...
-White iPhone 4
-White iPad 2
-apple tv facetime?
-video call to england (i mean the event they are having at the BBC center- the live video of the california event)
-free/updated MobileMe

Can't wait! Unfortunately I have to wait until after school to watch the keynote.

:D

If this isn't implying Retina display, then what is it suggesting!!??

One, it could be a version of the "particles" you see moving from the cloud on Apple's http://www.me.com page. It also looks like the particles one can generate from objects in Second Life. That's it. iPads are now always connected to Second Life. :p

Second that, would hate to be at work right now

Gonna whack the kettle on, do myself a large brew and sit in front of my iMac watching the updates.

I'm sure those at work will be getting sneaky updates on their phones/computers! :D

Very disappointed in the lack of live stream tbh, worked just fine the other times they had it. Why dump it now? And no, it wasn't to test their data center they used Akamai to stream last time.

Or we have dual monitors with one for work and one on Engadget!;):)

thank god i'm in CST and it's at noon my boss is on lunch I can sit reading MR and engadget the whole time uninterupted. don't think i'm getting lunch today though haha

Ok my apple freak friends, if you found working live stream links you can post them now!

I cant believe we will get no official live feed!

guessing they don't want to make it clear that Jobs will not be presenting. don't want that image out there for the media. my guess anyway.

iPad 2 vs iPad 3

Given the production constraints on large, high-res Retina-like displays, my guess is that the iPad announced today will stand as the nominal model until next year, and the rumored "Fall 2011 iPad" iPad 3 will sit at a lower price point with a smaller form factor, akin to the Steve-maligned 7 inchers, in between the iPad and the iPhone/iPod touch. While the tech and production lines aren't quite ready to make and drive iPad-sized Retina displays with good battery life, a mid-size "iPad nano" touch device might already be possible, and it would make for a useful trial run of the design and production for larger iPad-like high-res devices.

At least, after waiting for a year, this is how I'm going to rationalize an iPad 2 purchase...

Every since I got my Iphone for Verizon I am a total Apple fan. I can't wait to hear about the iPad 2 and whatever else Apple brings to the table.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

Ah, Apple media events always put me in a good mood. :)
