In all seriousness, Apple has its work cut out to match Microsoft now.

Why? I saw the Microsoft event yesterday. Hololens was cool, other than that? I dont know...an overpriced desktop? An overpriced laptop? What exactly does apple have to live up to?

Does anyone have this event showing in their Apple TV Events app? I only have the Sept 7th event at the top and the older events below?

No idea,, i still have Apple TV 3 which at this moment only displays October event... Video not shown yet. Considering there is only 5 minutes left

Maybe Apple is releasing the iMac Studio. I really can't imagine what the significance of those clouds is. It looks like an explosion. Maybe it's a nod to Samsung.

Here's my guess on what to expect:

1. Magical intro speech.
2. Some video showing apple watch, iphone, and ipad pro being used with the new macbook pro, then finally showing the magic toolbar.
3. Another speech about how magical and the best MBP apple has "ever" made, how truly revolutionairy it is in both 13" and 15", how innovative apple is, and how by adding a $999 4GB AMD option to the 15" opens the world of limitless possabilities to creative pros.
4. Then some pop artist will perform.
5. Then they'll talk about apple tv as a service app on MacOS, and soon iOS, and how everyone can now use appletv without having the set top box or TV.
6. Then they'll show the new 13" macbook (not an air), and they'll run the new appletv app on it.
7. Then they'll show how you can now get show reminder alerts on the apple watch.
8. Maybe then another video showing all the devices working together by a bunch of pretty actors with lots of smiles and a few "passionate" pros using apple pens on ipad pros and getting reminders on their apple watch that a new episode of game of thrones is now availible on appletv.

Why would you not want USB-C ?

I think it's the idea they might remove regular USB ports. Almost all computer accessories use them, including the iPhone's charging cable.

Not to mention, it still runs Windows. And Windows 10 has been a disaster for me so its gone once these Macs are announced.
