lol in a snarky way, I predicted 1800 for 13" and 2400 for 15" to a friend a few hours ago

I was exactly correct, apple tax in full force

I truly hoped the obsession with thinner and smaller would finally stop with the new MacBook Pro's. Thin should be a focus with iOS devices, that makes sense as we're not far from paper thin display's similar to Spielberg's prophetic use of such in "Minority Report" (2002). Mac's need power: dedicated GPU's, better connections, return to professional suites, a dedicated display line (the 20"/23"/30" CCFL LCD's sold extremely well and that was with an initial $1700 price tag for the 23" model), and so much more.

This is the least impressive keynote to date.

And everything looked so half-hearted. "We are very excited..." *looking 2% excited.

I feel Microsoft has really gained the initiative lately. Sad they aren't putting effort into Windows 10 Mobile anymore. Office 365 and Win 10 in general have been really solid releases.

I'm actually feeling like jumping ship from the whole Apple system. They sound... dumb. They think we're dumb and need gimmicks. We don't!

Between post Steve Jobs Apple and the up until recently weak competition, I have managed to get myself out of the debt that early Apple put me in. I rarely buy their Macs since they don't move forward, and most iPhone updates are gimmicks. They keep trying to force people to use their inferior products for specific tasks. Like use an iPhone to shoot a movie. No. Use a laptop to edit a motion picture. No. Use your iPhone to take professional photos. No.
