Sounds like the iPad Pro DOESN'T use Lightning! Hurray! 100% of the Lightning devices I've used have that port die. I love the Surface line, but for a couple of reasons I like the iPad better as an eReader, BUT I wasn't buying another one if it used Lightning (I'm still on an iPad 2 for that reason...)

Weight's awesome, same as a good 10" tablet but with basically a 13" screen, is actually impressive. I'm not one of these people who whines about weight, but 1.5lbs seems like maybe a good weight for a tablet.

Having to plug in the pencil is a bit un-Apple. Couldn't they do induction charging when you are using it, or at least just setting it on top of the iPad?

Interesting. I wasn't expecting a stylus. I could imagine students or teachers using it to take notes. Could it be a replacement for paper?

Don't knock the iPad pro. This would be the biggest gift to an artist - thankfully Apple still cares about us artists.

Could they please hurry up and get to the iPhone stuff. I'm tired of seeing this blown up iPad / wannabe surface pro 3.

The iPad can quickly become my favorite PowerPoint platform. The Pencil is a great use for it!

Seems irrelevant to artists. Surface Pro makes 1000x more sense if you're an artist. iPad Pro makes sense as hopefully a good eBook reader.

I gotta say all these Steve Jobs stylus tweets in my Twitter feed are really lame especially considering everyone knows exactly what he meant. Come up with something new already people.
