I really like the iPad pro with the stylus - I just think it is let down by the OS. As a professional artist (painter) who has dabbled in the screen I am interested to see where this goes.

Steve is spinning in his grave.
Not bad though, it's taken almost four years post his death for Apple to lose it's direction and just become a manufacturer of premium versions of competitors products. Apple finally eats itself.

He went back on his decisions sometimes. The stylus wasn't good for phones. He said nothing about tablets

Cue the Apple apologists. If it wasn't meant for the phone and only for tablets, why wait 5 years to do it? Because Samsung and Microsoft have been doing it for years already.

I want Ives to do a video about Charmin Toilet paper. I think it would be interesting for him to ramble on about the quality of the stitching, the numerous layers for comfort, and how function and aesthetics converge in your bathroom.

Coming in 2016... Samsung Pencil

Sorry - what? Perhaps you've heard of the note?

Apple Pencil sounds like some kind of parody.

Also, I really don't think this can be anymore like surface pro.

Steve "bashed" the stylus because he was creating a differentiator for his product. Nothing more, nothing less. Some people put way too much weight into what is said through marketing and PR and what someone actually believes. If Apple had a product that was blue and their competitors were red, then we would hear them talk about the studies they've done to show how blue is the ultimate color...
