I used to want an Apple TV but a lot of these set top boxes have lots of content for US TVs, little for those of us in Europe. Was recently looking at getting a Roku but there's that whole thing about spending more for the product for fewer features.

I would love a set top box, and a loud company behind it, to drive more content into Europe. Otherwise I'll stick with my PS3 and at least get bluray playback!

So they copied the Surface and the Fire TV today. So much innovation.

Many of Apples products have not been so much about innovation as it is taking an existing idea or product and refining it into a more user friendly or useful product consumers can use or will end up needing without realizing it. Definite improvement over previous creations by the competition.
