Of course. But you would be ill advised to base any of your transactions on your personal feelings or expectations on what would have or should have happened at any Apple Keynote. The price pattern of the stock during and after each keynote should tell you enough about that. Especially with Apple it is wise to look beyond your own opinion or the aggregated opinion on a US centric rumours site and do some research into where the real growth markets are for Apple products and see how they react.

I care and I'm disappointed that the have removed the optical audio port. That's what I currently use on my AppleTV 2 because I do not have anymore HDMI ports open on my AVR (and I hate using HDMI switches). May have to switch the optical to my PS4 but, then I lose DD+ from the Vudu and Netflix app on the PS4.
This is also why I was hopping to hear a little more about third party apps. If they are going to allow Amazon Instant and Vudu on the new AppleTV, with DD+ support then, then moving the optical cable to my PS4 will not matter.
Add it to the back like other phones. But you really wouldn't need a physical button. Just saying, seems possible now.
All this negativity in this thread today has been ridiculous, and extremely off-putting. I'll be avoiding MR for the next Apple Event.
Most of those 3d touch features could have been implemented by touch and hold, it's just an excause to make older model obsolete quicker.
Ever since the Mini 2 they've done this. I sat through the Mini 2 and OG Air keynote so they could put in 3 sentences at the very end of the event before the closing remarks. Kinda irked by that.

well, it pisses me off when they got to show "technical" aspect of the video...and putting spells on the consumers...and wasting time. Why not just bring out more products like computers.
agreed. I have enjoyed the show but its a little slow and most of the speakers seem like robots. They should use Craig more often
