Is it me, or is Tim actually moving pretty fast through this? Makes me wonder if there's more to today's announcements.

No you're right. This is not typical of your average Apple keynote, at least not when Jobs was running it. I'm hoping Cook keeps the "One More Thing" tradition alive though.

So, the new iPad looks just like the iPad 2...cool. I'll take the retina display tho.

Always miss Steve on days like today. I can hear him saying "Isn't that just great" right now.

So assuming they say ordering for iPad is available starting today with a 3/16 or whenever availability, when does the store usually open back up online?

Want to make sure I get my order in asap.

correct me if I'm wrong. it's almost 3am here. no home button in sight?

Edit: i'm blinded by the first pic in Engadget. boo.

Apple used to broadcast live video. Never any mention of why they stopped.

I'm sure that it was rumoured (to the point that I'm pretty sure Apple confirmed it) that they dropped the live streaming when the iPod became popular.

You didn't hear everyone in the world talking about what Apple was announcing for Mac OS 10.2, but the iPod nano was a different story.

They still have to bring out the app developers, and that'll fill the rest of the time.
