Do you think Tim gets nervous before these massive announcements?
With the exception of the enthusiasts, who is going to cover the cost of broadcasting it? Besides, the video is launched the next day on apple.com. The important stuff is detailed in the live blogs. It's a media event, not reality show.
I was thinking the same thing. I assume they "shutdown" the apple online store before each event regardless of availability of new products?
Does anyone have information based on history?
They can't afford it.
Too many people trying to watch it at once and too much of a strain in the servers.
They did it a few years ago where only people with Apple devices could watch it but theirs too many apple devices out there now.
To my knowledge they do this anytime to update their product line up. So with it looking like they will have ...iTunes update,iPod update,iPod nano update...iPhone.. All text, graphics, info on these products need to be put on their site.
But it could also mean Pre-orders are today....I just hope they don't start Pre-orders today.
Does the shutdown of the Apple online store indicate that pre-orders will take place today and not Friday?
Lol... Anyone els remembers when MR sent out text messages for updates from the keynote? That was cool.... My phone going off every 34 seconds![]()
In before...
"shut up and take my money"
"so much for doubling down on secrecy"
"Steve never would have allowed this."
"but is Safari snappier?"
"wtf, it's the same as before but taller... Apple is doomed"![]()
