Just curious how many people in this thread are going to be disappointed with no new information during this keynote after reading all the rumors here for the past year. Should be fun to watch.
Exactly. I'm a casual reader of this site and even I think I'm up to date on what will be announced. When Apple sends out samples of their new phone, it kind of spoils things. I'll let them talk for 2.5 hours and I'll come back here and read the highlights.

Woz!

Those same people chose to read and attend MacRumors website by reading the latest leaks and information divulged . But that doesn't necessarily mean they will be set up for disappointment.

Oh, just stop that ***, Apple maps improved considerably.

It just misled me yesterday with the wrong bus route when I was visiting family. Google Maps actually fixed it. Good thing I could download that and Waze on my phone because Apple Maps is often inaccurate with time measurements and real-time directions, even when walking and taking public transportation. Apple Maps was telling me to take a street car instead of a bus.

Interesting how you can speak for the individuals that are attending, stating they get bored and fidgety. Almost like you personally know them. I accept your opinion.

It would be good if something else kept them occupied like constant wallpaper changes, instead of a Apple logo only on a black display.

Because Apple Maps is only for cars, right? It's not like AR could be used for walking routes, finding public transportation routes, etc?

AR will also help humorless people find their way to a laugh. Using Apple maps of course and driving their cars.... obviously.

I am looking forward to all the comments around the OLED screen after years of saying retina is better :D
Been expecting OLED to come to the iPhone for about three years now. Most of the comments you'll see to defend the wait is that it simply wasn't mature enough yet.

But regardless, Apple is very late on this one - and even worse, wants to charge a premium for it while similar-price competitors have already standardized it. Makes you wonder what happened to the iPhone 4 days when Apple was way ahead of competitors on the display tech.
