11:23 am Apple now runs on 100% renewable energy. That includes Apple Park with solar panels and directed biogas. But also our data centers. People said it couldn't be done, but we did it. Now we're on to our next challenge...ending mining of materials. So let's take a look at material innovations in iPhone Xs. Now using recycled tin in the logic board. This prevents mining of over 10,000 tons of tin ore per year. Reducing use of traditional plastics and transitioning to recycled and bio-based.
When you don’t do your job, say you use renewable energy and recycle cardbox.

"Keep using them is the best thing for the planet" Someone needs to tell her that you can't just "keep using" Apple products. You can't upgrade them and they have built-in obsolescence.

Damn Apple fell off hard. This has to be the most boring keynote ever. To think you have almost a trillion dollars and you can't even innovate anymore?

This is absolutely the most boring Apple event EVER!

I actually disagree for once. This is one of the better keynotes they’ve done in recent years. I usually find the Watch boring bit his is the first one it kept me hooked and amazed. The iPhone announcement is also better put together, it’s just missing that killer feature like ProMotion.

These bloated keynotes for every iteration of iphone, watch and ipad release have had their day. Apple and Samsung are both at it. Less and less focus on the products themselves because there's so little innovation now. Apple are still firmly up themselves believing the world has come to a halt awaiting the latest minor spec bump. Just release the updated phones to the media and announce a release date like they do for Macbook updates. Keep the keynotes back for when they truly have something new.
