You are aware that point about the SE is not (only) the price, but its size?

And it’s nice that Apple is "working on new Macs". You know what would even be better? Releasing new Macs.

If all that they release is a new model year Mac without any real improvements in components then I don’t care if they aren’t releasing new computers. I bought a 2016 iMac and other than screen resolution it wasn’t more capable than an iMac that was 3 years older.

I don’t know if when they release the next group of computers if it’s going to be more of the same. If it is then I really don’t care when they release them.

As for the $600 phone size, most people want bigger screens. I think that the cost increase is about $100 over the SE from last year, but I may be wrong. But small phones don’t sell as well. The $900 iPhone X that they are selling isn’t expected to be the best selling iPhone, it’s the ones with the bigger screens that are supposed to sell. Small phones don’t. You can say that that’s the size you want but Apple wants to make up in volume what they lose in per unit cost.

If a 3 cent phono jack is too much cost/expense I don’t hold out too much hope that smaller phones will make a comeback.

I paid $1149 for the first 42mm SBSS. Wouldn't happen now, since these days I prefer the comfort of the sport bands, but somebody's going to pay that premium for some high end model.
Yikes. I paid half that and am still wearing mine right now.

Oops I don’t think Tim meant this for public Twitter.

No. Who can get it here quickly?

Enjoy the event, it's been more than 10 years I have started watching Apple's keynotes. Still makes me really excited. It's like some kind of theater play for me.
